on if game has further heightened the need for new signings…
We have to see how bad the injuries are. I cannot tell you more than we are on the market. Everybody knows. The whole world knows that now. I cannot be more creative than that in the press conferences because all has been said and nothing has been concluded yet so I can understand your questions but I cannot give you more answers at the moment.
I think it is contract law. I am sure Tevez got paid for the most part of his beach holiday and they could not strip his wages for the whole time. Why FIFA surely it's the clubs problem. They can fine etc so leave it there. Game is regulated enough
I am sorry you seem like a nice enough guy but I am loving your pain after all the times you have gloated about this happening to usAVB saying they're considering whether to fine him for not turning up to training 2 days in a row. He will no longer be regarded as a Spurs legend, what a cuntish way to end his time with us.
Maybe "he" really is on the market. Man City have tapped him up they are paying him to fuck up Arsenal before signing him on the cheap on the last day of the WindowWe're in the middle of the transfer window, of course he's "on the market".![]()
on if he's accepted that he will not sign Wayne Rooney…
Look we cannot speak about players who are under contract with other clubs. When players are under contract at another club, they have to respect the contract. If you want to buy the player, you have to speak to the club first. I think we have all to accept that.
I (and pretty much everyone else, everywhere) genuinely thought Bale was a class act who was acting with nothing but professionalism all the way through this. He went to this meeting with his agent yesterday (in a pink tshirt with a fucking pink cap on backwards - in truth that's when I knew this was going south) and since then, they seem have changed their tactics and gone cunty.I think it is contract law. I am sure Tevez got paid for the most part of his beach holiday and they could not strip his wages for the whole time.

I find it hard to blame the Players, it will be his Agent telling him its his only option.
Except its not his only option. I get quite annoyed when I hear stuff like this. He's a grown man, he can choose not to be a dick, and his agent works for him, not the other way around (unless his name's Kia Joorabchian, who seems to have reinvented the concept of indentured servitude).
Out of interest what are his other options. After handing in a transfer request not showing up is his only option isn't it? I do get that he should be an man and honor the contract he was given but we have seen this summer with Liverpool clubs are not always squeaky clean. This whole Suarez thing seems to me like he honestly believed he has the buy out clause but after the PFA pointed out the wording was not on his side he backed down. So he is being more of a man than Bale is. But if when Bale signed he had a agreement verbal or otherwise that if Spuds missed the Champions League he could leave then i can see why he is getting pissed off with Spuds continually upping the price on him.Except its not his only option. It's not his only option but footballer players are hardly renowned for their brains now are they? Gareth Bale will have had an agent since he was little more than a child telling him what to do and where to go.

I really don't care. We forgive footballers their petulance and stupidity far too readily. While he's still a Spurs player (who hasn't handed in a transfer request), then he should behave like one. To be fair to Rooney, even if he was desperate to sign for Maureen, his training and on-pitch behaviour has been impeccable.

Different situation IMO. As far as we know the Rooney to Chelsea transfer was always just a dream for both parties and not ever close to actually happening. In the Bale saga it does seem that the club are fucking around trying to bleed every penny they can from it when Bale just wants to get it over with.
