The is generally due to the fact the Spanish league is completely uncompetitive outside the top few spots, it is also why certain goal scoring records should be taken with a pinch of salt.

So the early injury news looks bad with Gibbs, Monreal and Vermaelen injured and Koscielny suspended. For Fulham so we will have Sagna (50/50) Carl Jenkinson and Per Mertesacker. LMAO.

For the Champions League game we will have Koscielny, Jenkinson and Mertesacker. Not to mention Ramsey the Ox and Cazorla could all miss Wednesday.

And apparently a unknown premier league team has just been told they can't take Jenkinson on loan now due to injuries which could mean bad news re Sagna. What a cluster fuck. I am not sure we will be able to name a full squad for Wednesday. Bring on the reserves.
