Bitterness...
Given your squad and resources to finish 3rd and not even make a final must be embarrassing? We are not expected to be challenging but given you got your wet dream manager back and failed on all fronts are you not very sad?

Not at all, did better than I thought especially in Europe.

Our squad is so much better now than at the start of the season. The best I thought we'd win is a domestic cup but we've been spoilt with them anyway. More excited for next season than I have been in years.

Sometimes I'm amazed at how little Chelsea fans expect given their squad.

As I've stated before that feeling comes only from one section of our squad, our strikers. Only Eto'o appeared in the top 3 scorers for Chelsea with Eden being top.

Our midfield without Matic is pretty shocking and gets dominated easily as well.

Just my opinion:

  1. Man City - 100bn.
  2. Liverpool - Great attacking football, terrible defending that stems from an inexperienced manager, better next year (though will drop to 3rd/4th in the league).
  3. Chelsea - Proving that attacking football wins the league and defensive shite is boring to watch.
  4. Arsenal - Joyful finanical performance for shareholders. What? Fans who?
  5. Everton - The icing on the post-ferguson pie. Not only did moyes leave and fail, but his successor was better.
  6. Tottenham - Spent over £100m but technically all it shows is that gareth bale was worth more to the team than they sold him for. The team is the "great white hope" of selling teams. But failed.
  7. Man Utd - Fucklol.
  8. Southampton - Well done, players developed, money earned.
  9. Stoke - Have you ever been to stoke? Jeez...
  10. Newcastle - Should have beaten stoke, ffs, *implode* ;)
Fixed :D

Been in pub for a few hours. If someone said before the start that we'd have been in the conversation for the title down to the last 90 minutes I'd have torn their arm off. Fucklol win season. :)

You mean the post-hillsborough match where he was in tears because his 10 year old cousin was the youngest person to die?

That's a fucking laff that.

What's going on? Why does @Gwadien like football now?

And which part of my post were you facepalming, @Scouse? :)

I always liked football, haha, I just never thought there was much point posting about it on here, I posted ages ago when Derby beat Newscastle to wind up @Billargh, since it was the only game we won ;)

We only know how to beat good teams ;) We always come a cropper against lower league ones, that's why I'm happy Brighton aren't getting promoted, we never win vs them :p

Derby has a very strong over all squad, I was thinking earlier when Derby went up last time, there was always the few amazing players but lacked heavily else where, and the only issue I can see with Derby this season is if we do go up, we'll just struggle - over all, and it could damage the squads moral, personally, I think it'd be better to demolish the league next year, and get some experience before going head to head with the big boys.

McLaren built good composistion with a squad that Clough built.

Feel dirty that I made money off city today. Coral offering 3/1 on a city win to new customers today. 30 quid of a 10 bet. And I'll never use them again ;-)

Spurs got me a massive tenner today from £1 on 3.0

1.3k give or take this season from £1 bets.

For those writing United off, our away record was third best in the league. If you think we'll be as bad at home next season you are crazy. We may not win anything next season, but we'll be challenging at least.

From a business point of view they have to invest in the squad
