I never know how Scouse will react to anything but comparing two adults deciding to have sex with someone raping an underage child is out there. Some of the things Scouse has said is fine in society have made we wtf in the past. It is socking to think Adultry is where he draws his line in the sand :)

Still a cunt of epic proportions tho.

Used to be the only ManU player I had genuine admiration for. But he may as well be a paedo in my book. Shag your brothers wife?

C.U.N.T.

Since we know a. nothing about his brother, b. nothing about his brother's wife, and c. very little about Giggs itself, I'd say its d. none of our fucking business. If Giggs had created some kind of family man image to gain financially through endorsements or whatever, then I'd say there was a public interest, but he didn't, so there isn't.

Making a particular distinction about the type of adultery just because its his brother's missus is facile, and saying "may as well be a peado" is ridiculous.

I don't care who football players fuck, or anyone else for that matter, unless there's a public interest reason, or they've done something actually illegal, like gbh of a DJ, for example.

How about ppl who throw punches at a dj and walk away clear, even after admitting it?

Went to court, as he should have...

With his brother's wife.

I'm not massively morally outraged by adultery (though it's not something I'd do - again, standards, if you've told someone you're in a manogamous relationship then you owe them your word, or at least split up before doing the dirty with someone else). But imagine the long-lasting family devastation for fucking the wife of a family member. How low do you have to stoop to fuck your brothers wife - especially when you've the means to be fucking some stranger anywhere else if you simply can't keep it in your pants?

I can't stand my brother. Really can't. But do something like that to a family member? What a cunt.

Edit: @DaGaffer - I'm not accusing him as something as bad as paedophilia - he's not a child fucker. I was using that analogy more to show how much I'd have to do with someone who could shag his brothers wife. Shag a stranger? Yeah, fine. Whatever.

But to humour you lot - I'd probably equate what he did on the same level as knowingly shagging a willing 15 year old. It's just something you don't do. Ever.

I'm sorry, but what the fuck has this got to do with football?

We know giggs shagged his brothers wife behind his brothers back. How much more do you need to know?

Heat magazine > that way.

Meh. I don't think everything about someone's character should be ignored in public life...

.

I'll reiterate, I don't care. Its none of my business, and the fact that its his brother is no more relevant than if it was a total stranger's wife. I don't particular like or condone anything he's done, but he's a football player, not a group of people I look to for a moral example.

That's actually quite bad. They look half finished, how are they going to get it done within 36 days?

They're going to have to rush to get it completed on time, and that worries me a lot. They've already had so many accidents and deaths, and there is a lot of criticism (there will be protests during the tournament).

I did toy with the idea of trying to get out there for the tournament when Brazil were announced as hosts, so glad i didnt now, I;d be scared to death in those stadiums, I just hope to god nothing collapses when it's full, not sure how much stress testing they will be able to do between now and the start of the tournament

The only stress testing that will be done is on computers. They are being built by pretty amateurish companies with pretty lax safety standards in a rush. I dread to think how many short cuts have been taken.

Then as you say there will be protests which will probably turn violent...mix that with football hooliganism which is rife in South America anyway and you are asking for trouble.

Then there is the climate, who the hell wants to run around a pitch for 90 minutes in near rainforest humidity? There is going to either be crap games or high injuries.

None of this will matter to FIFA though who care about sponsorship money and brown envelopes stuffed full of 50 dollar bills.

I think this one and probably the next few WCs will show just how utterly useless and questionable FIFA as an organisation has become at running football.

I'm still really excited for it though. England are over 33/1 to win it. I remember us being like 8/1 in the South Korean and German world cups.

Might be worth sticking a tenner on with those odds.

It's because we're quite likely to go out in the group stage this time I guess. Also our team isn't nearly as good as it used to be (edit- I'm talking about the WCs 8 and 12 years ago. 4 years ago we were shit as well.)

Care enough to talk to me about it :p

I don't look to anyone for a moral example. I have my own, thanks. And brother > stranger...

Yes. You singlehandedly gave City the trophy. You should be ashamed of yourself

@caLLous did you hear that van gaal said he'd love to be the new spurs manager today... no? Oh yeah, that's because it would be a stupid thing to say.

Van gaal confirmed today he'd love to be the new United manager.

I apologise.

However, isn't it funny how Villa have become such a non entity it isn't shameful to support them any more?

Was I the only one hoping for the draw so the top 3 could win this weekend?
Nope. Chelsea being out of the running pleases me. It makes it doubly sweet because United fans will despise whoever wins.

And there's no need to be a dick Ch3t. :( I could point you at any number of sources from this year that said LVG was excited about coming to the Prem and Spurs. He had the choice to make between us and manure and he obviously went with you lot. Despite the differences in the sizes of our clubs, I guess he sees United as a more desparate and needy club. It still remains to be seen if and how much SAF will back off and let him get on with it though.
