But let's be honest, the attacking play has masked and taken attention away from the piss poor defense, a defense that some on here still insist is good enough.

Chelsea have the strongest defence but without a better attack you can't win when it fails, Liverpool have the best attack but a problematic defence thus they can suffer and man city have a mixture of both good attack and defence so you've got an interesting mixture amongst the top 3.
