Not been jumping up and down on United much since their epic collapse this season, but I just found this factette that I figured I'd share:

450,000 'unliked' the official Manchester United Facebook page after their 3-0 defeat to Liverpool

Plastic fans :)

Its actually a big problem for them, they rely on the plastics to service their obscene debt created by the owners.

Just found an even more interesting fact:

Liverpool's kick off against City - potentially game of the season - is at 13:37hrs.

L33t. As in Liverpool's return to.

Yep. It's true. Liverpool are definitely gonna win the league this season. David Braben says so. I'm in no way grasping at straws.

I'm not!

I'm thinking of withdrawing my comment about warming to the idea of Liverpool winning it. Scouse is going to be insufferable. :(

More than usual? Wow!

Anyway - ONE comment. A single little comment about the mancs. Plus - city are gonna win anyway - so you're safe. Unfortunately. :(

Out of the top 3 Liverpool are the ones I would rather see win it. Only because I can't stand City or the Chavs, Arsenal have virtually no hope now, not that they ever did though.

As I said previously the primary reason I don't want LP to win is nothing more than the LP fans, the idea of listening to them boast about it for the next 20 years would be somewhat annoying.

And you wonder why I think you are a Spuds fan you are worse than any Spurs fan I know for finding a way to give Arsenal a dig.

Actually found myself rooting for city this season. Not because of glory hunting, but because I'd rather have them win it than Arsenal, Liverpool or Chelsea. And because I am a massive Yaya Toure fan. Said it for long, but if I were to pick 11 of the current players in the world, I'd start with him

To be fair - Raven always said Arsenal had no chance because of quality squad depth - and that's what's done you over.

Seems to me he's just pointing out that he was right.

Honestly - Arsenal are still in with a shout. Weirder things have happened.

I know but he could reply to a post about how Sturridge took a dive and end up saying "yes it was a dive but it is no worse than Arsenals dive down the table"

That, soze, is one of the beautiful things about football. The incessant ribbing of another team's supporters.

Especially when they're a goldmine of results. Like you ;)

Stop complaining and defending and give some back eh?

Typical self-absorbed Arsenal fan. There are other teams you know! You've finished behind quite a few of them for the past x seasons.

We always finish behind less of them than you though.

It's Spurs when we're playing well and Nottingham or Northampton the rest of the time. Proper fair-weather supporter.

Its not a dig. I have said from the start of the season that Arsenal had no chance of winning it, purely because they have a 1st 11 and nothing else. Coupled with the fact that they always get a stupid amount of injuries in midfield due to them being over worked.

I beg your pardon? I do not support Spurs, have never claimed to and always said I am a neutral. Is saying the obvious about the greatest under achievers in the prem somehow supporting Spurs? I support my local team which happens to be Northamtpon, there isn't a great deal I can do about that and I imagine I see them far more often than people who claim to support premiership sides.

Northampton, fyi are 2nd bottom in the league...I could pick a premiership side, maybe one that happens to be winning like 90% of premier league fans but what would be the point? And before you say it, it is unlikely you had a great uncle twice removed that had a <insert premier league side> scarf so have supported them man and boy, its bollocks, you support them because you saw them winning on match of the day once.

Such nonsense!

Arsenal's squad is actually very good. They have an abundance of good midfielders and six very good defenders. They need an outstanding striker, cover at left back (Monreal is genuinely terrible), a central defender on loan and some physical presence to replace Arteta with and they would be my favourites to win the league next year.

GK: Scz, Fabianski (who actually looks quite good now, I'd be surprised if he stayed as cover)
Defenders: Sagna, Mert, Kosc, Gibbs, Vermaelen, Jenkinson (who looked really good last year), two new signings.
Midfield: Ozil, Cazorla, Wilshere, Ramsey, Rosicky, Flamini, AOC and a new signing along the lines of Matic or Fernandinho
Strikers: Giroud, Podolski, Walcott and someone that costs £45m+

People forget that Arsenal had by far the best league record for the 2013 calendar year. It's because of horrendous injuries to key players coinciding with a ridiculously tough run of fixtures that have finished them this year.

Ah, that would be the tough run of fixtures where you need to rest midfielders because they are also having to do the job of a non existent strike force and a non existent defence would it? But can't rest them so they just end up injured all the time, or just worn out. Which was predicted before a ball was even kicked this season. Sure a few have had some really unlucky injuries but there has also been a lack of fitness because they are not machines. Do you really think you would have taken such a pounding from the likes of City if you had a good enough squad to make sure players were fully match fit or semi-decent cover for key players?

Every season the same players get "unlucky" injuries, can nobody see the pattern?

Fuck it, I am now a half Spurs fan...

I don't support any team in the PL (Maybe Spurs a tiny bit)

Those are just the two I could be arsed to dig up. As for the rest of your post, yawn, it's been done to death. I can assure you Spurs were not "winning" when I started supporting them. :)

Non existent defence? They have the best defensive record in the league (well, they did before it all went tits up against Liverpool and Chelsea, Chelsea probably have it now).

I accept what you're saying about the injuries. I don't know what causes it but it does seem to happen every year.

One was in jest quite obviously and the other is me denying it, I used to like watching them play when they had some class but thats as far as it goes.

I can't remember where I was reading it but it was all about what could be causing the injuries at Arsenal. Impact injuries and torn cruciate ligaments are all bad luck and nothing to do with training. But all of the strain and muscle injuries are meant to be down to Wengers training. Some of the old players have said he trains like you are in an army boot camp. This is meant to be great for the start of the season but it makes it next to impossible for someone to be at that level all season without getting an issue. I do not know if it is true but if it is then Wenger must be prepared to accept these risks in order reap short term rewards which is stupid. This training is also meant to explain why we have a lot of set backs with players returning from injury.

Went to physioroom yesterday to check when Aguero would be back (to soon boooo!), and I was amazed at Arsenals list. And it always seems to be that long aswell!

When's he back?

West Ham is going to be a massive problem for us this weekend I think.

Big Sam will wang Carroll up front and they'll lump the ball up to him at every opportunity - which will mean that we can't press as high up the pitch as we'd like to because at the end of the day Carroll is still a handful. We'll do well to come through that with a clean sheet considering how slack we've been at defending this season.

Plus with Squirtle seemingly unable to not hug anyone near him in the Penalty area I see Carroll getting a penalty off him.
