Was he actually regarded as a good tactician at Liverpool? He plays the same style and formation regardless of opponent, and his substitutions are always like-for-like. If there's nobody available for like-for-like he'll simply not make a substitution.

I get this as well, I said a long time ago to play Luiz CDM at Chelsea, low and behold, he ends up playing there!

I think we need to personally play just 1 CDM (Luiz) play Lampard/Oscar in the middle with 2 wide players, then a Rooney position player just off the striker, then the main striker Big Ba!

We make defensive mistakes, but we also definitely don't put away enough goals considering the amount of attacking talent we have available. I think our striker just gets lost in the bundle and could do with an extra player to bring some distraction to the defenders.

I'd actually like to play Torres in that position, he actually has some good vision the guy just cannot finish, he's actually made some pretty good assists this season and I think could do very well there without the pressure of being a 50m finisher.
