If Benitez doesn't get sacked after the shocker he had today then he's definitely not getting sacked :(

RDM - 12 games, 24 points
Benitez, 15 games, 25 points QQ :(

Probably not going to happen until end of season.

All it really shows is bad the owner is. Go through managers like socks, firing perfectly decent managers and employing morons, just so he can fire them.

Oh fucking hell Bale is unbelievable. He's winning them game after game on his own.

these shit teams seriously need to stop giving him loads of space

It is odd after west hams manager said spurs were a 1 man team - fair result tho - very weak penalty.

Managing Chelsea is a very different prospect to Spurs, he is a decent manager but Chelsea was too big too soon for him and the mistakes he made there he's learnt from for Spurs.

You don't really manage Chelsea it seems, you strap yourself and prepare to be shafted. Good payoff though.

"Too big" had nothing to do with it. Chelsea are simply dysfunctional.

He's only playing well to boost his prospects of a move to Spain ;)

Honestly, look at the Spurs target men and tell me where Spurs would be without Mr.Bale, Defoe is the only one I can think who's actually been prolific, both him and bale are getting into fantastic positions and finishing extremely well. You can't hail AVB as being that great just yet when you have two very much in-form attacking players banging goals in.

It counts the same for Man Utd really, where in the world would they be without RVP.

I was going to say Spuds are currently punching above their weight as Bale is on fire. I will not slag off Bale as our lack of a DM and Mertaslackers 50 yard turning circle could lead to him tearing us apart. But I am not sure Spuds current position is anything to do with AVB I doubt he said we don't need a new striker we will just move Bale to behind the striker. He is just betting Bale-d out! Haha I made a funny.

Bale is shit according to lots of people round here :)

I also think AVB is a decent manager to improve on last season. You can't blame the manager for shit results and hail the squad for good results. He managed at Chelsea with a squad who has far to much say in the way things are run and an owner that either supports them or is totally oblivious to it. Chelsea have not really changed one bit since AVB was there, one or two new faces but the same problems.
Besides which, no team is ever a 1 man team, while the rest may not be scoring, they are helping him to get in the right positions. If RVP wasn't scoring for UTD then someone else would be. UTD win a lot because they have a good squad who do as they are told. If they throw a paddy or bicker they get moved on.

He hasn't scored in the league since Boxing Day. 2 month drought is hardly what I'd call prolific. Or finishing well. :D

Anyone think it's a coincidence that Bale's form has improved massively now he's stopped diving as much after getting all those cards for it?

Said it for ages, he would improve massively if he didn't dive so much.

Arsenal have received the fewest yellow cards in the Premier League this season, with 25.

In the three times Arsenal have played an AVB-managed side, Arsenal have scored 5 in each match (5-2 Spurs, 5-3 Chelsea, 5-0 Porto).

I just hope that a) Defoe is back and b) Adebayor doesn't fuck it up for us this time. It would've been an excellent contest but for his stupidity.

I have a feeling that if Defoe is back he will start on the bench and not play the whole 90.

Should've done a bit more research, last time I actually watched Spurs he looked really good so meh :D
