I assumed it was down to form in training, but every time Hernandez plays he looks really sharp. The only thing I can think of is that Fergie prefers Welbeck because he suits the interchangeable positioning style that Ferguson prefers to operate, whereas Chicharito is more of an out and out point man in the Michael Owen vein.

In some ways you are right, they were fucking hard to break down, played boring fucking football but a couple of great players created enough goals to sneak alot of wins. Personally I can't stand his match mentality, it's dour and fucking negative.

Your poor performance wasn't as bad as many are making out and it was against a Shaktar side who have a ton of self belief at home. Not too many sides will do that to Chelsea this season.

We were still poor regardless, misplaced passes when not under pressure, shoddy defending etc.

Also starting to look tired, not rotated much since discovering our best 11, not good timing now we have to play Utd and fly home from Ukraine.
