on the subject of friendlies, i looked into getting tickets to see united v barca in gothenburg as its only a few hours on the train... all 40,000 tickets sold out in less than a hour... for a friendly!

The could sell 120,000 in a day for that match in Scandinavia, it's madness.

There is quite useless site in sweden called ticnet that distributs the tickets. And that site _always_ crashes when ticket for a big event is launched. So besides the 40 000 that have tickets I'm guessing 40 000 extra (at least) was thrown out from the order process at the confirmation page (and thus are now royally pissed!).
Since the game is in Gothenburg I thought about getting some tickets but it was sold out before I noticed they were on sale

We have the same crap here Lethul, 210,000 Stone Roses tickets went on sale at the same time, the system constantly crashed for hours and the only people able to get tickets were on the phone or very lucky. Amazing how the touts got so many thought right? Cunts!

If that happens you would be mad not to take Berbatov in exchange for a knockdown fee, he would be a great foil for Podolski and could compliment the way Arsenal play. For proof he still has it have a look at the United pre-season game, his touch and vision are first class. Either way he adds depth to your squad and will represent you with class.

Still seems like a massive risk for £25m, but good to know he is well-thought of by senior pros within the Brazil squad. With that said, we've seen plenty of hyped Brazilians turn out to be turd in the Premier League (hi Robinho). Here's hoping he lives up to his potential.
