Bit of a has been isn't he? Not sure why Man City would bother with him tbh?

How can people say Giroud hasn't looked good. In his first season he's scored goals and changed games with his aerial threat and direct approach. He's exactly what arsenal have needed in their squad as a plan B!!
I like the guy and I'm looking forward to seeing him next season.
Wenger was on Al Jazeera talking about possible signings and mentioned both Fabregas and Rooney.
Billargh said:Maybe they just looked at his ridiculous stats in Fifa and thought, "why not?".
I agree if Wenger was going to pay anyone £250k a week it would have been RVP. Rooney is not a Wenger type player at all and will likely cost £30m plus £250k a week. I will hope that this is bollocks.Arsenal will never sign Rooney. I don't think it's a coincidence that Rooney's agent has started the "I want to leave" bollocks as new management is coming in. He wants a contract extension.
Cesc could be real as the talk is still that it is a season long loan deal as Barce do not want to sell him but he wants to play. So a loan is good for both. And we get Cesc back for a year.Talk is cheap, as proven many times by Wenger/Arsenal.

Wenger probably couldn't pay RVP 250K a week a year ago; now the TV deal is ratified and the stadium finances are sorted, he could - bad timing (although I think RVP would still have gone anyway).
The new deal would of made it easier but the fact we are on track to make a profit again this year would say if Wenger wanted too £250k would of been available for RVP.Wenger probably couldn't pay RVP 250K a week a year ago; now the TV deal is ratified and the stadium finances are sorted, he could - bad timing (although I think RVP would still have gone anyway).
