dunno, seems ok but his touch looks really heavy and I think he'd struggle against good defences, also seems to lose the ball A LOT, plus seems to get some lucky deflections. Deffo has some talent tho but looks a bit arrogant with it, seems quite greedy and always want to beat one more man. Wouldn't say no to signing him tho

Deal is done, complete gamble for £25m but let's be optimistic and say he fullfils his potential - that's a damn fine array of attacking talent we have now. Hazard, Mata, Marin, De Bruyne, Oscar, Paizon, McEachran - all able to play in that '3' in Di Matteo's 4231. Over compensation for our lacking in that area over recent years I think.

Hoping the next signing we make will be a right back. ;x

Dempsey is brilliant, and if you even think of being a typical Scouse red fan and even think of turning your nose up at him or doubting him then you're making a major mistake. He's better than pretty much everyone in your team right now. He's dynamic, works hard and has an all-round game, drive and desire that I've seen from few players in a Liverpool shirt in the last few years. If you do get him you should be in for a treat, I'd take him at Arsenal in a moment.

To be fair to Suarez - he was doing a TV interview and he was asked about it. Is he supposed to be really gay and say "I'm forbidden from talking about that"...

...I wouldn't. If I feel I've been wronged I would tell the world. Although, if I was on 80 grand a week I may consider my position - full in the knowledge I could go somewhere else, of course...

Underwhelming scoring record He's not a fucking striker. But he's so good at football he can play there and still score goals.

If you're judging him based on what poor impressions you have, you really need to start watching more football. Dempsey was one of the best players in the league last season, one of the few to have a full season long of similar form - no dips, no perks - just constant reliability. He's very, very good. The fact that you're criticising him without knowing much about him says a lot about the type of fan you are (typical Scouse red living in the past thinking that you somehow deserve to be near the top).

OK then. Based on the resounding recommendations I'll give him a fair crack. I hope he's as awesome as you lot say - Liverpool need someone in that postion quite desparately.

Yeah, I was going to say that, as a barometer for his actual league performance, he bagged me a *shitload* of points last year. Just good, solid contributions in every game and goals were just the bonus-y cherry on top.

Again you make yourself look like you know nothing. Fulham play good football. They started off a bit dull under Roy but once he secured them at the back he got them playing good, passing football. Jol similarly likes good, flowing attacking football and they were good to watch last season in the games that they didn't go spaz in and play like retards.

It's pretty evident you need to watch more football. If you think Fulham are dull and you've been watching Liverpool matches... you've got it ALL wrong.

Bollocks.

Liverpool were massively more entertaining to watch last season than in a long time. Plenty of attacking football. I can count on one hand the matches were we were negative and boring.

I don't watch fulham that much because my life doesn't revolve around football and the hatful of times I've watched 'em (under Hodgeson and Jol) they've been totally uninteresting - especially under Hodgeson (as were LFC when he was in charge).

Maybe under Jol they've been more get-up-and-go - but not the handful of matches I've watched. I suggest if you think LFC were dull last season you need to watch more footie Waz
