Nah - they just couldnt really establish a pattern of fraud - it doesnt tend to be a one off - once people start defrauding they tend to go for it in a big way. This wasnt the case with Harry and the generally confused way he handled his money gave it credence that he wasnt actually trying to defraud the taxman. I dont understand why he wasnt just fined by the taxman in the normal way?

I bet he's already paid more in tax than you will even earn in your life time. that's a fairly big contrabution. Also if he's in jail he won't be earning any money, so he won't be paying tax, and he'll be costing the tax payers to keep him......
