With no doubt Man City will have the most fans within 10years.
Doubt it, even with all the plastics Chelsea fans are a bit of a minority.

On paper they're no Ivory Coast imo.
Newcastle must be pretty frustrated at losing Ba and Tiote for a month.

Oh, I didn't know they could (or rather, would) do that.
Yes exactlyGenerally people who support a team because they saw them on TV once and thought they looked good. They have absolutely no link to the team or town that the team is from. If you were going to be brutally honest most fans are plastics as they "picked" a team from the prem to follow, though that is at the end of the day what modern football is.
I have often thought that I should get behind a premiership team to support as well as my home town team (Northampton) but I just don't have any emotional attachment to any of them! The nearest is probably Spurs, only because the wife is a Spurs fan and I like to see them do well, I don't exactly lose any sleep when they lose though!
Edit: Personally I don't have a problem with plastics as such. But they should support their team through thick and thin, there are plenty of fans that are only fans when their team are doing well.

You can be just as passionate and die hard and have the exact same ups and downs with out every visiting the stadium. Follow all the team news and follow the games to the best of your ability then that's good enough IMO.
