I am not saying that made a difference but I am sure a guy got a slagging from the FA for putting the keeper off a cuple of years ago?

I dont see what was wrong with what Anderson was doing... there been issues at other times where players been standing in an offside position to put off players, however Anderson was onside whilst he was doing it.

Players constantly give each other the bitchyness on the field, so dont see why this is different. If a player is put off by some faces there is something seriously wrong

You are right sorry the guy I was thinking of was standing off side but not going for the ball so not active. You are right there is nothing wrong but Anderson should not be shocked to get steamrolled at a corner if he carries on.

If they don't invest they'll lose 4th and without the champion's league their whole business model will fall apart, meaning they'll either have to invest even more like Liverpool or fight Tottenham for Europa League every year

So does anyone know anything about this Coates that LFC seem to have almost signed (saw that he was at the Bolton game at least).
Is he any good? Oo

That's wrong the whole reason our football business is making roughly £25m a year profit is because is football modle is based around not having champions league football. It has been that way since the move to the Emirates.

The real impact would be player signing to try get back in there. Our big hope is City winning the CL so the owner gets bored and leaves. That's our game plan!

Quite good, decent potential. Has the tendency to be a little over aggressive at times.

When having a nightmare just isn't bad enough...

Cascarino is such a thick twunt. For such a shit player he has lots of opinions on better players. Was excited when Graham Taylor signed him, then he turned into a nightmare that threw away the chance of the championship in 90/91. His first goal for the Villa was an own goal. Useless cock.

You a United fan again after FCK got eliminated? ;)

I'm not a United fan, I merely support them rather than any of the other EPL clubs, and no I am still a FCK fan, regardless what type of european contest they are in if, any at all. I support my local club(you can see the stadium from the hospital in which I was born) and I won't take shit from a Swede supporting Liverpool, a club in a different country than himself, that hardly ever talks about where he is from, unless it's about Zlatan when he finally decides to turn up for Sweden ;)

You've got to feel sorry for City; they put in the unequivocal best City performance of the last 20 years, oozing quality all over the pitch, and two hours later United do that, and go top to boot. Its too early to say two horse race yet (this time last year Chelsea had scored more than United are on today and hadn't conceded a goal), but United and City are both looking really fucking impressive, and United don't normally kick on until after Christmas.

Hopefully with Sturridge available again and Mata looking quality already we can start to kick on and do some damage to other teams now, but we really need that creative midfielder, whether it's Modric, Moutinho, or AVB just gives Yossi a run in the side!

Aye Spurs had the proverbial 'Wang Computers' T-Shirt on today against City and then Man U provided a nice 'Bart Simpson' diversion and deflected the attention on to Arsenal.

The beginning of this is showing how big the gap between Man U, City, Chelsea vs the rest is and how it could get bigger.

Yossi gonna stay? Read some tweets that suggest otherwise.

Ashley Young should face a fine from Aston Villa for breach of contract by consistently performing below his obvious best. Dick.
A not-at-all-bitter Villa fan on facebook. You can see the difference in a player when he is surrounded by quality (not a dig at Villa). They all shone today, what a display.

And Spurs... oh, Spurs... :( I still maintain that Assou-Ekotto is underrated though, I remember watching MOTD last year and Hansen absolutely ripped into him. He's a bit.... careless... with his challenges at times but he was solid today.

hahaha love the ashley young quality.

success breeds success, and it shows how utd can get the best out of players. Hell look at Nasri today and compare him to his arsenal days, seemed completely different. But in his case money buys happiness :p

foreign fans supporting the big clubs is better than people supporting a club on the other side of their country anyway :p

Holy shit a weekend:

Last night I was in Mestalla to watch Valencia come back from being down by two, to winning the game

Today I watched the City - Spurs game and was very well entertained. Watched an hour of the Copenhagen game, but my stream kept fucking up, so decided to watch the Man U - Arsenal game and thank fuck for that! Later this evening I went to a bar to watch the Real Madrid - Zaragoza.

4 games = 29 goals. That is an average of 7.25 goals per match! That's more goals than I saw scored at Mestalla last night! Crazy crazy football weekend!! :D

Now I know how they must feel in the Eresdivision every weekend ;)

Depends :p

I support Liverpool because my dad is from there and told me I support them, whereas my brother supports Arsenal because we grew up 20 miles north of London and they are the closest team.

I also support Stevenage though.

Most people have a tie to a club in someway, unless they are a full on glory cunt xD.

most people just fool themselves into thinking they have a tie to a club

My tie to United was Schmeichel and since he is no longer there I don't really see the point in being a full on fan. Yeah, I'd still pick United over any other EPL team and yeah I'd rather see them win the league than some other club. But my heart is with Copenhagen and Copenhagen only, nothing will ever change that

What a load of bollocks. During his time with us he made the top ten of all time Premier League goal creators. He didn't have the best season last year but that is mostly because of Houllier and his shit tactics ... in the O'Neill period he was excellent week in and week out.

Also since no-one else seems to have said it that I can see. In the context of the game at the time, De Gea's save was crucial.

STILL STICKING WITH DE GEA!
