well, the overall window has been great, TDD however we've lost 5 players and signed one :< not the best days work

Horrible. Our squad is threadbare and has no creativity at all. Jenas might be useful to add some pace to our midfield, but he's not going to be creating chances for Bent. If we have injuries like we had last season we'll be down with the deadmen again.

I am abit worried that the signing of 2 midfielders means Jack is going to be out a while. And with Nick leaving i think we are not very strong upfront. In all i think we are still weaker but better than 8 - 2 now.

Especially happy with Mata, I reckon he'll be a real star. Lukaku looks like he has all the potential to turn into a beast although i'm still unsure whether his success so far isn't just down to being hench in a shit league. Also pleased with signing a few youngsters, they look promising and like they might actually get some time under AVB.

Indeed. I really hope Lukaku gets a good run in the team this year. I do hope Torres comes good, but honestly I'm so much more excited about Lukaku and Sturridge. Mata looks class and hopefully he'll be the difference maker we need this season. I think with United not signing an established midfielder and our unusually astute signings, the title race just got a bit more interesting.

Well united moved early for young, de gea and Jones. And with the impact cleverley has made and the form Anderson has shown I didnt expect anyone else.

Pleased for Arsenal, and if the Korean is half as good as Park arsenal will gave someone who runs for 90 plus minutes hard. I reckon he will score goals for them. Arteta is good business, most fans have said for years Arteta could play for a team that challenged for things.


Chelsea have made some cracking deals, surprised more have not left, kalou, malouda but meireles is just whatthey need in the middle.


Lollerpool great summer overall, don't really understand the belly signing he was horse in the championship last year and I would not play him head of Kurt, suarez or Carroll. Strange one for me.

Will be hard for him to get games I reckon, he can only play down the middle where we've obviously got loads of players, shame he can't go on loan until next season as well, maybe we shouldn't have played him against Norwich! Should make the Carling Cup, and other lower priority games more exciting though.
