He's always maintained the position that Evra was lying and that he's (obviously) not racist (which would be hard to be with a black grandparent - unless you're full of self-loathing).

I am amassed people see it as that black and white. What the guy said he says to team mates and friends. He mentions in the report he says it to Glen Johnson who did not see a reason to charge him with racial abuse. This is why the FA findings were so dangerous, the words he said were racist however there is zero proof that there was intent, so to condemn him as a racist is short sighted.

*My last reply on this subject as it really is the same shit over and over. The FA have screwed Suarez here with the wording of their findings.
