And let's not forget Tony Adams... :)

Turning up to training and wrapping yourself in black bin bags under the kit to sweat out all the alcohol/toxins was the way to go!

Then Wenger came and made everyone athletes. Pah.

Seems like England have some talented young players that he has no idea what to do with?

The media are pissing me off again, who on earth would want this England job. Look at Pearce, he's done the U21's for many years, and been a huge asset to English football, and all of a sudden they are turning on him like cannibals.. it's pathetic and franky not on.

It's not pathetic, Pearce has managed the under 21's for years against all common sense, he's taken brilliant young players and taken all tactical and technical nounce out of them. Just hoof it up front and hope lads! Passion!! It's an absolute joke he's not been found out by the media sooner. You need to pay more attention, only you and keitz here seem to think he's an asset to English football, most others have been slating him for years.

Always the managers fault, rarely the players fault??

It is in Pearce's case.

Don't forget he was desperate to destroy Wilshere's body this summer just gone too... I know he's out injured now but that's largely as a result of playing a lot at his age... if he'd played the summer, then the league, then this summer (euros/olympics) I think he would be completely dead.

Yes, in midfield, despite the better inform choices we had.

The problem is he's judged on his qualifying, which lets face it, is really easy. Then it's okay for him to fail at tournaments, because he's English!

Shit man you know ch3t, we commented on it on FB all the way through
Last championships. He didn't have a clue, Bertram and rose both left backs starting a game. He's a clown and should be nothing more than an FA voice box when sounding passionate. For anything else he is not good enough. Any England fan thinking different is mental :p

Not over here :(

Can't find an expat bar with it on? United v Liverpool is always an early kickoff; I really enjoyed that when I was travelling - breakfast beer and abusing the Lollerpool lads I was with.

It is in Pearce's case.

Regardless of if you think he's done good or bad (that's another topic and debatable) the media should not be allowed to do this. Now I understand it's the medias job to report news, throw a hint of speculation or whatever but I believe there has to be laws protecting people and organisations from them. Forgotten the world cup already? how the media fucked it over for us?

Yes I am aware the media in this country constantly undermine us; however they do give fair comment as well, and they are right here. Pearce should be allowed no where near the first team, let alone the under 21's.

The press need to collectively fuck off tbh, they're not doing anyone (least of all Spurs ) any favours with all this pointless chatter about 'arry.

It's nice to see Cleverley on the bench.

If we are going to win this match it will be either 1 piece of brilliance from Suarez or a jammy goal or Bellamy coming on from the 70/80th minute and scoring :/

Real shame that we can't fit in Carroll/Suarez/Bellamy all in to the first 11... imo Carroll really needed to start today for his confidence ... blehhhhhhhhhhhhh

Going for 3-1 to Man Utd :(

You can fit all 3 in quite easily. Bellamy from the left, Suarez from the right and Carrol holding the ball up in the centre. Dalglish is to tactically inept to figure this out though.

Carroll played pretty much every minute of Suarez's ban, how much time for confidence does he need? Maybe he's just shit now. :D
