It's alright, I'm sure they can squeeze another holding midfielder infront of their centre backs to plug it up a little more. :D

As for Aguerro I have no doubt he is an incredible player, but I'm not sure how much he can drag the team through games like Tevez did. City really need to Yaya Toure to keep up his form from the back end of last season and for their other creative players outside of David Silva to produce more consistently.

Rumour today about Chelsea going for Adam Johnson. I'd be happy with him at the Bridge, I think he'd slot in great. He really doesn't get enough game time at City.

Would be a good move, but I'm not sure City would sell to us.

if your definition of humor is throwing darts at kids :p

Me and my mates used to shoot at each other with air rifles, roman candles and throw stones at each other.

Look at the good things he did last year, going to the school to sort out a bully, giving away money to the homeless.

He's still a young lad, I remember when he tripped up Dzeko after the Blackburn match and jumped away laughing, he's just a kid, and still immature, but he's not a bad lad at all.

true he is only 21, BUT theres a huge difference between messing around with your mates in a garden or field somewhere and throwing darts at kids training

but he is not 5 years old anymore, throwing toy out of pram when not getting his own way is not ok ;)

especially when you earn that much money! <jealousy>

He certainly needs to take more responsibility of his own actions. But he get loads of shit from the Italian fans for being Black, so I'll cut him some slack!!

Bollocks, you don't cut people slack for having a shit attitude, that is why the Italian fans turned on him in the first place, he has a chip on his shoulder the size of a log. The racial abuse he suffered isn't justified but he is a pretty dispicable human being and is very easy to dislike, all that just from playing for City, then you have all the other nasty stuff to take into account! :D ;) :p

While I agree that it is awful he has suffered racial abuse, which is never excusable, you can't really use that to justify his general bad attitude. I think a big part of it is mis-management, I honestly believe Mancini isn't the right style of manager to get the best of him - from what I gather he is rather strict, somewhat like Mourinho who also clashed with Balotelli.

Take a player like Taraabt, who is a totally different kettle of fish to Balotelli, but he thrived when given responsibility and when Warnock didn't treat him like a naughty little boy. Mancini having a shouting match with Balotelli on the sidelines, to me at least, is the absolute opposite of how to handle someone like him. Not saying he should be made captain of City (though for the neutrals, it would be funny ;)), but I certainly believe if he is ever to change there needs to be a change of approach in how he is handled.

What's he done that's despicable? He's just quite the outspoken idiot but does seem like a nice guy. I find him easy to like because he's so entertaining :p

Have to agree, it's not like he has gone around assaulting people (Gerrard) or raped someone (Marlon King) and so on. Maybe he should come to Chelsea, he and Ashley Cole can shoot all the staff and throw darts at them together. :D

hardly an excuse for missing an open top parade for the fans, having shouting matches with his manager and getting needleslly sent off etc

my problem is that he thinks he is the greatest in the world - which is not really a problem as long as it helps his confidence - but when he is disabused of that fact by other players or by being subbed when he is playing wank he cries like a little girl, which only makes things worse, for the team and the manager :p

but i guess thats an issue for many footballers, just bugs a lot of people (including my useless self!) that when someone has that much talent, that they then piss about and dont seem to really care

Ha. Heard on my lunch break on the radio that Kalou hit the bar from four yards. GET IN MY SON.

He was given permission to miss the opening parade, he went through the correct channels to do so.

I'm not trying to justify his actions, I just don't think he's as bad an apple people try and make out. It's nice to see a footballer with a personality on and off the pitch that I can relate too.

yeah that cracked me up. Kalou really is the master of hitting the bar from a yard away though

The idea of Kalou being the master of anything is kinda funny. :D

Apparently he's a lovely chap though! A bloke I know went to that Addidas event for their new boots earlier in the year and he met Kalou, only had nice things to say. Then, I guess when you get paid stupid money to sit on the bench you develop a mellow outlook on life.

Ha. That was class. Not quite on par with David Luiz but still good.

Wish I was able to watch the Chelsea game at work. Damn shitty net and computers. I envy you, unwashed, jobless scum!

That Sturridge goal is not good, the keeping is utterly horrific. Would never be scored against a remotely competent keeper. So you'd be able to crack one in like that against Valdes, as RvP showed :D
