We are talking about the Juninho who played for Boro, not the Juninho Permabunacananananana who played for Lyon.

All the people who said he was a one trick pony 5-6 years ago, all the people who tried to drive him out of England, all the people on this forum who slagged him off no matter how many he scored or what he won. All the people who said he would not do as well at Real Madrid, those people who said him scoring 43 in a season was a fluke, well fuck you all he has beaten that twice since then. :D

In short, go fuck yourselves, Ronaldo is brilliant and will continue to be so. :D ;) :p
Alright, I just don't remember people saying that stuff. Personally I think he's a great player, just a cnut that I don't really like but still great to watch when he's actually playing football. Most seem to feel the same.

Well either I've failed to explain myself properly or in your rush to bash your fingers against your keyboard like a monkey you failed to read my post as intended or remember what I've said in the past.

PS I also credit Ronaldo with one thing over Messi, he played in a more competitive league and won.

No, I just didn't seperate it very well. Only the first part was for you, the rest was just put out there. My bad.

Yep, as you said about him winning over here, he has done it in three different leagues that play football in very different ways. He can do it anywhere, he has the game. How many players can actually say they have scored in excess of forty goals in two of the worlds best three leagues? A magnificent achivement and he is still only 26, his peak is still to come and he will do special things before his peak is over.

I was talking about Juninho Pernambucano, since we were talking about freekicks ;o

I've never said any of the things you claimed. Although he is a one-trick pony, if banging in goals is a trick xd

The original conversation was about the Juninho from Lyon. I said that David Beckham was the master of free-kicks and megadave said that Juninho (Lyon) was. As he is famed for his free-kicks I assumed he was referring to him.

I very highly rate the Middlesborough Juninho, better than the Lyon one by a long way.

Yep. Beckham was a better player than the Lyon one, as for freekicks well that is a tossup but Beckham did it when it mattered and for that he edges it imo.

Definitely.

I was very fond of Middlesborough Juninho. A friend of mine gave me an English football magazine called FourFourTwo and it had an article about him - apparently he used to play football with the kids on the streets on Middlesborough. The guy sure is brave.

Yeah he was a genuinely nice person, the people of that area adored him, to this day he is still regarded with almost god-like reverence and I can understand why, he really did love being there and playing for those fans.

Isn't the famous image that showed what he was, where he was on his knees in tears as 'Boro got relegated?

What a goal that was. And bring on 3-2 to Swansea so my free £10 becomes £290 :)
