I loved that comment from the Liverpool fan, they need to get past Chelsea, Arsenal and City before they start challenging us for titles again. They are improved but a long long way from champion material.

Next season will be even tougher for us, we need to spend and spend well to replace what we are losing. If we don't then we won't win, Chelsea and City will definately spend to close the gap and they need to spend alot less than Liverpool.

I think Chelsea are a bit vulnerable. They are going through a period of transition with an ageing squad, they havn't really bloodied any youth this season and they are almost certainly going to have another manager. They will still be top 4 next season, but they will need a fair few players. I Guess buying loads of players worked back in 04/05. But thats when they had Jose, who is probs the best man manager out there and is very good at getting squads of lots of different nationalities and personalities to gel. Will be interesting to see what happens with them for sure.

That is it, Liverpool fans need to be realistic and prepare for a substantial period of rebuilding, if success comes sooner then that is a bonus but this time they need to build for the long term and that means growing the business plus the stadium on both the corporate and consumer side.
