Fair result imo we both got away with a penalty man u got away with losing Vidic for 60 minutes. And over 90 minutes i think we deserved the win.

Arsenal players really did the fans proud today they put in a real shift and in the scheme of things winning at home is not a cup but it is a big deal given the run of form we have been in. Gives the home fans something to be happy about for a change.

I would hate to see him anywhere else in England. But another solid offer would really help get a proper price from Barce.

Getting rid of Fab and reinvesting in the squad would be the best thing to be honest, the amount of money you could get would easily solve many of the issues that you have. Also.. Wilshere as captain? Tries to get the best of everyone round him, the closest thing Arsenal have got to a leader.

With talk of £40m available in the summer (now we cant spend it paying off loans any more) and the money we can make selling the the fringe players. Denilson Diaby Bender and Roisky to start. We should be able to make significant investment. I agree Cesc should not be the captain, he does not command the team, much like with Henry i think the armband has been used to pad ego. In terms of who our real captain should be I can only really think of TV he commands the box better than anyone else. What i would not give to have Gilberto or Edu still at the club as the old head. Jack has mentioned this year what a difference it made have Lehman play as he acted like a captain and started reading the riot act.

To get rid would be Clichy, Fab, Rosicky, Denilson, Arshavin, Bendtner, Squillaci

All have been considerably cack each time i've seen them and don't really bring anything to improve Arsenal at all. With Wojcech Schsdsfjdfd I think you got a keeper for the future, Koscielny/Djourou/Vermaelen/Miguel are decent CB choices.

Sagna is set, Gibbs is better then Clichy if he can sort out his injury problems, but a LB would be needed. Arsenal without Song are weak also, better cover for him is needed, maybe the likes of youth such as Emmanuel-Thomas could do the trick?

The rest of the team writes itself tbh, shame that Vela only seems to succeed in a 4-4-2, however the potential is there.

It's all speculation, as Wenger will probably promote a few youngsters and leave it at that hah.
