The only thing was that Bayern at the time were topping the Bundesliga and dominating Germany.

Schalke can't even qualify for Europe next season, have had a terrible season and are generally pisspoor most the time.

Barca will probably destroy UTD again.

Depends on how we play and workrate in midfield, if we do the same as last time they will dry hump us but if we keep it tight in the middle whilst using our pace on the wings we can give them trouble at times. After that it is a matter of inches, who takes their chances etc. Barcelona are a great team, no doubts at all. That said, United are formidible on our day and if we play anything like our best we can give Barcelona a real game.

Shalke first though, not an easy game.

See you in the final :D

All the Barcelona cockyness, be funny (not in a good way, in a see the fans reaction way) if in the first of these 4 derby matches Madrid end up injurying Messi and Iniesta(or Xavi) and see how they do from there.

Barcelona are by far the better team, but Madrid got that extra bit of depth I think, so if Barcelona lose some key players they be alot weaker due to the lesser replacements available

What's up with Evra these days? Every time i've seen him play for the last couple of months he's looked well below par.

Not only Rooney but Berba's been pictured sulking on the bench this season. Rio's so full of shit sometimes it's ridiculous. Man spends far too much time pandering to his fanboys on twitter than doing anything remotely worthwhile.
Or Nani saying he wants to go the Serie A or get more money :m00:

Seems to me there hasn't been muchdebate in here of late so let me try to inject some. I think it's a disgrace that Nani isn't in contention for the PFA award. He has probably been the most instrumental player on that team that leads the league, he has moved on leaps and bounds this year and looks set to keep improving.

It's the PFA awards. If you want to be voted, try not acting like you're being shot 10 times a match by the people you want votes off.

Pretty fucking simple.

Reguardless his talent is still there to see. Ronaldo acted the same way and he got the recognition.

Said it previously. Nani will not get votes until he sorts his act out.
Ronaldo gets away with it as he is one of the two best players in the world, his talent is undeniable. He also done it for more then 1 season.

Nani though hasnt got that edge. Ok so he goes down alot like Ronaldo, however what he does A LOT more then Ronaldo is flash that imaginable card. I was yelling at the TV for him to stop against Chelsea because it was really getting to me. Infact when Terry took him out (and probably should have got that second yellow), Rio walked the whole length of the pitch, Grabbed hold of Nani and had words with him. And I can bet he was telling him to stop behaving in that manner. Infact it was shortly after that Nani got subbed.
If the Refs done their job properly, Nani would NEVER finish a match because he would be constantly sent of for 2 offenses of flashing the imaginary card!

Yes Nani should be recognised, he has done alot more than the likes of Bale (more goals and assists), however until he realises that he needs to change his act he will never get the recognition this seasons performances deserve.

Looks like the press and bookies are backing Carlo to be booted come the end of the season with Hiddink, Mourinho and van Basten amongst the rumoured.

Lippi also claims he's interested, just what we need, another Italian :(

let 'em be.

'tis gonna be triple the fun if Madrid beats them.

If Mourinho can get his defence disciplined then they stand a great chance. If they play like they did at the Nou Camp earlier this year, they're fucked.

Why is it a disgrace? It's voted for by fellow professionals, hence the name. Clearly he isn't respected enough by his peers.

The players he has there are unreal. Hulk and Falcao at the top, both of them should be donning a top league rather then Portugal. Nearly 60 goals between the pair of them this season.

I think that to a certain extent, the player vote for who the media tells them to vote for. The media hasn't recognised Nani all that much and so because Joe midfielder isn't hearing his name on tv every day he doesn't vote for him

Like him or not (which I don't) I think he deserves some measure of acknowledgement for how much he has improved.

what do you base that massive assumption on? And Nani has been massively mentioned by the media.
