Fucking hell, the Glazers/Hick/Gillett all said the same, in the end they are all after a payday. A payday at the expense of the fans, the club and football as a whole. Do not be so short sighted.

I'm not, this guy is younger and ridiculously successful and wealthy to boot. I'd see him more as a Lerner or Abramovich. He doesn't need to borrow for a start. He's also clearly a good business man, so he can learn from the mistakes of others (hicks, glazers etc).

anyway, if he does pay off their debts and gives them a £100million kitty, then good luck to them.

Every time I see his face, I think of the guy in Rock n Rolla, and can just picture him taking John Terry for a quiet game of golf. It always makes me smile.

Listen to -English- as a Blackburn fan, he is very worried and rightly so. If the guy is so rich why has he gone to the premier league club he can probably buy for the smallest outlay in Blackburn? He isn't a Blackburn fan, I know that much so why buy Blackburn?

A share of the TV revenue which will only keep growing, that alone makes it a good investment. Don't believe the bullshit bud, he isn't buying a football club out of the goodness of his heart. Even Abramovich hasn't treated the fans to that bullshit, he has been honest and said that Chelsea have to turn a profit in the near future. He loves football and loves the club but it is still a long term investment.

Hehe, all I want to do is slag off Man Unitshit, specifically Rooney (aka Shrek) as I know that Chet will rise to the bait and defend the most ugliest of *****, the most useless striker and the most useless waste of skin.

In all fairness he is shit this coming season, he performed shit in the Charity Shield and he performed shit in Monday nights game. He is just plain shit and fucking ugly.

No, hes been a greedy **** that has pretty much tried to bleed Blackpool dry over the years, wouldnt really ever spend a penny on them and kept an extremely tight ship.

was chatting to my neighbour who's 50-60 odd and has been a lifelong rovers fan. Hes disgusted with it, and we believe it shouldnt be allowed to happen. Soon enough all the teams will be bought out and the players will be getting paid even more. The guy has stated its a hobby, but when will he get bored and leave the club in an unstable state. The guy hasnt even been to blackburn so he cant exactly call himself a fan.

Refusing to give them money to build/finish off their ground was a bit tight :p?

If they don't have the money, then why should he? Look at the mess it got southampton in.

He's actually promised to finish it, but he wanted the 10k wage limit and a cautious approach to transfers, which is fair. They'll make loads of money even if relegated, by being prudent now they can build for the future rather than just splashing cash and suffering. They know they are probably going down, why lumber themselves with high wages for next season? Sometimes the risk just is not worth it.

The guy was taking the sensible approach so what if you become a yoyo club for a few seasons, the money eventually allows you to stabilise the club at a much faster rate.

No matter how well Holloway has done, if they spent high wages on wasters like Mido and others and the results start getting embarassing, the fans will want Holloway out because their expectations are now so high. It's the way it always turns out.

Yes, Karl Oyston, purveyor of all that is good in football.

Karl Oyston, the man who as soon as Blackpool got the sky money, sold the training ground that he owned personally that no one would buy, to Blackpool FC for £15million pounds and has now resigned.

What a guy!

His father was involved in big property scandals in the 80's or 90's iirc, the old man is still majority shareholder as well.
