No we will buy one more top keeper, to compete with lindegaard. Either Amos or Tomas will go.

Amos looks a quality prospect for the future, only 19-20 aint he, always thought he was highly rated by the united camp.

Big blow for Madrid - if it's a discectomy he's having he'll be lucky to play again this season IMO.

Well having had two discectomies on three damaged discs I can tell you that alot is going to depend on how much nerve damage was done during the disc compression. If barely any and it was just twinges then he is looking at a three month recovery with top quality physio. However with nerve damage or significant amounts of scar tissue it is going to take alot longer, six months is certainly within reason. Much will depend on the quality of surgeon though and if the operation done using normal methods or keyhole.

They were commenting on this during the madrid match the other day. Guillem said that Madrid are unlikely to buy in January; internally they already knew Higuan would require the op, and they have targets lined up for summer. They aren't willing to change their plans or panic buy.

It seems that Kaka's return is timely as it allows them to play Ronaldo as an out and out striker either alone or alongside Benzema.

Brazil league actually seems quite competitive these days, alot of their 'stars' have gone back home Adriano, Fred etc etc, with the next generation playing alongside them in Neymar, Ganso etc

Doesn't Adriano play for Roma? Or have he gone back again?

he's in roma until the summerwindow.

the Argentinian league has quite a few stars as well.. Requelme, Ariel Ortega, Veron, Buonanotte, D'allesandro - Ayla sadly stopped his career a few day ago :)

Hodgson is at it again!

02 Dec 10:
"He (Joe) isn't a naturally confident character. He suffers when things are not going his way," said Hodgson.

05 Jan 11:
"Joe is a very confident player. He always thinks he is playing well, so he doesn’t have any great worries about that side of things," said Hodgson.

Standard start to a game for us then, at least it should make them wake the fuck up.

Suprising to see Wolves having more possession as well, I expected them to put up a brave fight but so far they have slightly edged it.
