Our first point from a losing position this season, great effort. Houllier should have made more changes in the second half - the team looked exhausted. Also thought it was quite telling the way all the Chelsea players run to their manager but none of our players show any inclination to do so to our twat.

Don't be so certain mate. United will lose some games at some point of the season, Arselol and Man Shitty will not win the title and Spuds? Nah.. Will be either United or Chelsea
we're effectively 9 points behind. manutd will drop points but we'll drop more, we've gone from 6 points clear to 5th in a steady fashion

We will drop points in january quite easily. Your guys just need to pick it up and they will be right back in it. It one them seasons where you can see Utd dropping points against the likes of Blackpool

I still don't understand why Ferreira started. Anelka was dire, Drogba looks like he's not bothered again, the slither of saving grace is that Bruma had a generally good game and Sturridge looks like he should be starting over Anelka and Kalou right now.

Title's gone, Europa league beckons at a push for us now.

As I said a little while back, if we manage 20 out of next 24 points (so far managed 7 out of 9) then I think we will really stretch the rest of the pack. Getting Nani and Scholes back is going to be a big boost for us, hopefully Valencia and Park back in February too. If we are still top by the time we hit full strength I can see blowing the rest away but nothing is a foregone conclusion at this point and Chelsea have alot to offer if they can add a bit more depth to the squad this month.

From BBC five live...

From Dave, via text: "I have just come out of The Shed at Stamford Bridge. I overhead the bloke behind me say it would be a good result to finish fourth this season. Scary thing is he is right."

Can't believe so many Chelsea fans are giving up already, if United were playing brilliant then fine but we were rotten yesterday and haven't even been out of second gear for most of the season.

Interesting you say that, just read this on the BBC text;

1546: Interesting to read into a couple of the celebrations for Chelsea's goals just now. Nobody seemed to want to congratulate Didier Drogba for his equaliser, while the whole team went nuts when John Terry bagged what was perceived to be the winner, running over to embrace Carlo Ancelotti. So, whether or not Drogba is Mr Popular, the squad are behind their manager, I think?

Wonder if Drogba's going through another petulant spell?

Stats compared to last season...

After 19 games…
United 1 point better off.
Chelsea 8 points worse off.
Arsenal 5 points worse off.
City exactly the same points.
Spurs 1 point worse off.
Liverpool 5 points worse off.

Well you were bad yesterday and still won, we've been bad for ages and been lucky to get a draw. Even worse is our ability at home has nose dived as has our defense.

Steve Clarke would be a godsend right about now for our backline.

(For coaching not playing :p)

If City spend well they do have a chance, the thing is they haven't spent well so many times and blending in new players mid-season is never easy. It will be interesting to see who comes and goes there, personally I think they should never have let Bellamy go and Adebayor should have been out ages ago for his lazy attitude.

keep up the bad form till the end of feb :)

Yet somehow, I think that chelskies bad Prem.Leage form might, in the end be a bad thing for FcK, as chelski will definatly come at you with all they have, since after all, CL seems to be the only thing they have left worth going for ?

I wouldn't want Carlo to do a Rafa and pin all our hopes on the CL, the current Barcelona/Madrid would turn us over, unless we avoid them until the Semi's when the league becomes a little clearer as to where we stand.

Yet still you cant deny that the CL as seldom been more important than right now!
if you go ou to Fck, then whats left ?

so all cards or not...it's inevitable that more importance will be placed on advancing to the next stage of the Cl now that MU are as far ahead as they are in the prem.

I don't think they need to spend much more tbh. They already have a very good squad that is more than capable of winning the league this year.

Too many want-away players bud, when it matters most they won't deliver. You cannot build a side around stars that don't want to be there, Tevez, Adebayor, Ballotelli, Johnson for a start are all unhappy. The back 4 is hardly settled either.

Tbh, he hasn't been as good since the bus shooting.
