Any manager would be out of their depth at that joke of a club; Rafa left it n absolute turmoil despite the cries of the Rafa brigade here. Liverpool needs a brand new first 11 (11 because you need competition for Gerrard, Torres, Reina and Agger), and a lot of money spent. It's a 2 year rebuilding job at best. No manager will get that long there, and the fans are too stupid to realise that they haven't won anything in so long that it would make no difference.

Roy's getting criticised for playing hoof and hope - well he's known for good passing football, so you'd have to look at the ability of the players.

As for his signings; the hypocrisy on show is ridiculous. When Rafa signs shit players everyone laps up his excuses about a lack of funds forcing his hand; when Roy does the same he's a shit manager?
