Gohan is saying he is not worth £30million in reality though, it's English player bumped prices, the same as him not really being worth £12mill when you signed him. Great player, and £15mill is too cheap. He's probably an £18 to £20 mill player. And if it wasn't City who had shown interest in him, he would be.

That was because neither owner nor manager appreciated the way Liverpool wanted to do business, publicly unsettling our Captain with leaked information in the papers before the season had even ended. If you want to act like wankers then you have to pay the additional wanker tax.

Anyway, expected a win, as aoln pointed out chelski's pre-season has been horrible compared to ours. Carrick playing was a surprise to everyone though, Capello included.

Harnandez looked good, Rooney looked sharp considering his lack of pre-season, and Berbatovs finish was lovely. Without Dogba, and Malouda off form, Chelski looked very average. Sturridge looked very good though.

Bring on next weekend!
