If we lose players in the mean time so be it.

No player is bigger than the club and i ahve no issues with selling any player, Gerrard included if they do not want to be there for whatever reason.

Au contraire. When the competition was only for domestic league winners it had far more cache. Letting clubs that finish fourth in their league compete in the competition is just a joke.

Plus the new format is just a cash cow for the successful clubs and helps fuel them and keep them at the top of the domestic tables.

Bad idea, poorly implemented.
