how did you manage to keep the african players for an extra game? Has that been extended to the other premier league players going?

it actually upto the national teams. 28th is just the training camps, as such a day or two delay in arrival is not any problems for most of them. Not like they missing much

James Vaughan = superSub!

About time, i was really worried Everton were going to get beat by Burnley, since they have had shit away form it would be typical.

imo i thought we deserved it, we peppered them with shots and had possesion for most of the match. Some of our other results like birmingham we didnt deserve but this we did.

I thought we deserved it more at Birmingham where the difference was the goalie, Hart made some great saves in that game (and should be in the England squad, he's promising)

Fulham were very strong at defending today and we barely made any chances or tested the goalie, in the first half we were absolutely terrible,

Man gutted for Alan Irvine, ex-manager of Preston NE.

He was great at Everton as our right-hand man.

Tad harsh tbh - not like Preston are crashing out the bottom of the Championship or anything. Strange old league that one atm, Newcastle seem to be running away with it (but we've seen that before) but there's only 7 points separating 4th - 15th. Preston are only 8 points off the playoffs atm.

Though as long as Forest keep plodding along while no one notices I'm happy - if Derby go down again I'll be even happier ;) (though I am torn on that one as it means NC will have taken them down).

That was a crap game and a harsh way for Villa to lose it.

I thought it was a good game. Not having a dig at armchair football fans but I think if you watch a game without the commentator telling you what to think it becomes a very different experience.

Was a shit way to lose the game, and we really didn't deserve it. As soon as the ball broke to Torres in that position I just knew he would score. Sadly none of our strikers are anywhere near as lethal.

Picking the squad up for the FA Cup third round and League Cup semi-final games will be a big ask now for O'Neill. Time for him to earn his corn.

I'm not a ArmChair fan im a very upset Season Ticket holder.

What you may miss is that you see interesting things because you have a interst in the game i did not and though it was boring.

Yeah hoping for more of the same second half, some great play, Rooney looks lethal. Hopefully we can claw back some goal difference on chelski and arse.

Lol Chelsea are such sneaky bastards, they are trying to claim they are now debt free so that they don't fall foul of the new UEFA laws related to debt levels. They are saying the £340 million they owe is no longer a debt because Roman is no longer charging interest, what a load of bollocks, it is still a debt and it resides on the clubs books.

End of the day they are £44 million a year in the red, those losses might be falling but they are still a long way from being self sustaining.

BBC News - Chelsea Football Club now 'virtually debt-free'

fs Soze, how hard is it for your lot to keep a clean sheet against pompey eh? Messing with my fantasy league score. Got a really tight h2h going on and need the points.

Also, 5-0 now, Ronney set up Valencia who finished well.
