Blackburn in the semi's, shouldn't count our chickens but that was the draw most Villa fans would have wanted. Particularly with the away leg first. Would be nice to have a trip to Wembley to look forward to, has been ages since we were there last.

A Wembley final and revenge for the ref handing them three points at Ewood in the league ... sounds good to me.

Must say the quizzical look on Hughes' face and the way he waved at Wenger as he walked down the tunnel was comedy gold. Wenger got similarly aggressive at Villa Park last season and went eye to eye with O'Neill. Admittedly O'Neill had to jump to get to that level but the idea was there

Not sure what his problem is. Perhaps he's more of a winner and a competitor than some of his team?

Sparky when asked why Wenger didn't shake his hand "You ahve to be gracious in defeat and victory, maybe wenger doesn't know how to lose, maybe he's not used to it"

The interviewer then pointed out wenger was down the tunnel, and hughes walked off towards him.

then we had Arsene's interview:

I was miffed at first considering we were selling one of the two, bona fide world class strikers in the world in Samuel Eto (the other being didier drogba), but I have to say, maybe Mourinho was right in his praise of Zlatan. Seems a hefty price tag, but if he carries on his goal a game ratio he will be more than worth it.
