for what exactly?
This made me laugh any Irish fan that thinks Keane would not have done the same is in a dream world.
I said the same, but the thing is that Henry built an image of fairplay for himself, and he has robbed the Irish there and wiped that image out in one moment.
The real issue is the refereeing (again), it was so obvious and blatant that you have to wonder what agenda the ref and FIFA and UEFA have.
To be fair to Henry he did not celebrate, he admitted the handball and apologised to the Irish players.
Maybe it was accidental. The pace of the game and the heat of the moment can all contribute to these things.

I think we are being too quick to demonise Henry. Let's not forget he is one of the best players many of us have ever seen and for someone who has played fair throughout his career I think it's unfair to tarnish his reputation for something that was not deliberate.
He is not in the same league as Maradonna. Maradonna was a cheat and a disgrace. Henry is not.

It's true any other player would have tried to get away with it. Henry, being Henry, gets away it. Doesn't stop me thinking he is a dirty cheating **** though.
But the whole things stinks, how the top teams in Football either get away with it or have the odds stacked in their favour. Like the seeding's for playoffs, when it looked like a few big names would be in it FIFA changed the rules to make it easier for them. Whether in club or international football UEFA and FIFA always make sure the big names are ok at the expense of the lesser ones. I suspect Platini and Blatter will be more then happy with themselves today.
But then again, I doubt the Irish shed any tears over Maradona's Hand Of God goal in '86. So fuck 'em they deserved it :england:
Oh do fuck off Dori, you said you were going so stay gone. Or seek help with your addiction.
Ofcourse we would but it would be better if it didnt happen for either side wouldnt it?
its hard not to be bitter after the fucking last minute seeding and then this
its our very own "Hand of Frog"!!!
