Didn't watch the game as i was out, had a quick read of BBC and looks like it could've been a dodgy pen, guess last weeks luck came back to bite us in the arse and may have been playing on the refs mind.

Hopefully its an appealable situation, if not i think Hilario may start on Wednesday to get some extra match fitness, if Ashleys out for the Liverpool game i'll hazard a guess at Zhirkov getting some time against Apoel this week too.

Dont think you be appealing the decision unless it is a totally clear dive, and that will be reliant on the referee rescinding it. If he wont rescind it i cant see where an appeal will get you, and may actually get a 1 match extension as they seem to like doing now.

Shocking result even with that mind you, but good to see Man Utd get level on points now :D even better that we top on goal difference

Yeah thats why i'm not sure about it, i'd have to see the footage first.

At the end of the day these games happen, Wigan have been on a cack run and us the polar opposite, but sometimes things just don't go your way and you have to lump it. Noone would've expected Burnley to beat United, but they did. The manager will have to get everyone in the right frame of mind this week for Liverpool next week.

Bleh, stole a defeat against all odds from a game we didn't deserve to lose. Frustrating but not the end of the world.

In all honesty i think Fulham deserved a point there put a lot of graft in and the if it was not for the keeper they would have got a point maybe 3

Yeah that was an entertaining game, had to feel for Fulham, but I thought the were also lacking a little upfront.

Looks like the referee was correct on the sending off. Was some contact and even though the player played for the penalty Cech made the error in going at him. Contact was only slight but this day and age it doesnt matter.

Sure there may been a defender getting back to cover the line, but that shouldnt be taken into account. Afteral if it was the last defender and the keeper was on the line still it a sending off due to being the "last man". And then the goal scoring opportunity issue comes into play to make it a red also.

Zlatan scored again, 5 in 5 :)

With that said. Isn't La Liga a bit boring to watch? It feels like kindergarden defence at times :(

Im shocked to be honest, we (Sunderland) were shocking today, Wolved didnt deserve to lose by that margin, first half they played football when all we did was hit long balls over the top, second half was mental, not seen a half of football like it in a long time. Ref needs shooting tho, he was fucking useless. He did give us 2 pens, 1 deserved 1 not so but nothing else, Jones had people pushing and climbing all over him and the ref gave nothing.

Agreed, it was a good game to watch and Wolves looked a good side. How it ended up a 5-2 defeat beats the hell out of me.

Lol - surely that shows little more than how poor the standard of defending is in Spain? :p
