Haha nice once Vlad.

On BBC Ferguson is saying he will stick with Foster. I never saw Thomas Kuszask's (sp?) performance the other day, but why on earth is he going with FostArd?

kuszcak had very little to do the other day against a "weaker" opposition. Hard to actually make a judgement on him overal. Couple nice stops but that was it.

Foster in general should be the better keeper. he a much better shot stopper for instance... just for some reason he appears to be a bit overconfident at the moment, wondering if the long run of games has got to his head.

Before this season he was known for his long solid kicking, though since pre-season he made silly mistakes on passbacks etc. His decision making has been poor as was seen against Man City when apparently he the only person on the planet that didnt realise Tevez chases lost causes.

I can understand Fergi sticking by him, support it? Hmm not sure, but lets hope Foster sorts his head out and repays the faith Fergi showing in him. At this point in time though I think Green taking the No.1 shirt for the 2010 world cup unless foster brings in some good performances, he only got 3-4weeks till VDS returns (and boy do I look forward to a generally more competant goalkeeper that the defense will trust more-just hope he hasnt lost his sharpness this season).

edit:
I hope that Fergi drops Berbatov to the bench for this match and goes with Rooney and Owen up top. Would like to see that partnership a bit more since Berbatov has been very wasteful recently and not taking chances that come his way.

thats an old trick. It happens everywhere when it's possible. He's just unlucky to get caught.

wasteful? I don't know about that, very unlucky certainly. Berba does a lot of work to create chances, and his movement and passing create lots of space and chances for Rooney. The way Owen plays does not really help Rooney. I'd rather Berba stay upfront and let Rooney score lots. As an impact sub Owen really shows his worth.

No idea, is from the Norwegian league. According to the "kicker" the other guy elbowed him the moment before and he went nuts. However the kick was a bit harder than the "elbow"

I would be surprised if he won't get punished in some way at least :)

The safety of the ref is paramount so they arent allowed to break it up.

Could you imagine if fights were allowed in football. There would be a huge queue of people in the premierleague wanting to stick one on Drogba

Lol yeah the little ref would get torn to bits in the middle of them fighting.

Yeah would be a few players with a long hit list and id imagine Jey Barton might get a few contract offers. What happens after a fight like that everyone get sent off or just told to calm it?

Just calm it and get 10 minutes in the sin bin. If its a bad one, like, someone runs up from behind and cracks them, then its a straight red. But if its face to face then its just a sin binning.

Really dont like playing teams who have been so bad at the start of the league. Always feel they're going to turn it around against us :(.

They shouldnt though... Expecting another nice 3-0 win!

Wow that was a good game for Portsmouth, thankfuck for Baines and Howard else we could have lost that.

Pienaar was stretchered off, after that happened we kind of lost our steam somewhat, hope we havent lost him for an extended period of time.

Against "lesser" opposition i think Portsmouth could well have won that with the amount of chances they had.

I'm still nicely on for my "Pompey to go down" bet. :)

How did that Bilyalethingumy guy do, he looked useful in the Europa game the other day?

He came on for Pienaar when he was injured. I think he created one or two decent opportunities, but other than that his corsses today compared to his previous two games where a bit meh.

Didnt really get past the first man in most of the crosses. Although he certainly does have some slick feet thats for sure.
