Oh i was until i could never ever get a season ticket for them and i had to pay for cup games that i didn't want to go too if i got one.

I then went over to City as a lot of friends support them and i used to go Maine Road with them and go to every home game as the prices are reasonable. I could get a season ticket in 2007 and actually feel like i was supporting a club other then watching the highlights on MOTD, can't really blame me for that can you?

If i support a club i have to go to the games.

Translation: City got rich owners and im a glory supporter :D

He has said in multiple interviews that he left because he was sick and tired of them and he wanted to go to a club that wanted him and at no time when the season ended did he state he wanted to move clubs.

Sorry Aada but that is BS. He left for one reason only MONEY! Ade played shit for pretty much half a season last year. He just could not be bothered to put the effort in and it showed. He moaned publicly about not getting enough money many times. Well he finally got what he wanted, a big fat salary.

Arsenal are one of the few clubs left with a decent salary structure. One that many clubs wish they had.

As for the so called death threats just about every player who moves around the EPL gets a few of those. Always a small minority of complete idiots who think it's clever. As stated in the other post I think Ade going over to the arsenal and giving them a good up yours was quality, made me laugh anyway. I doubt the FA will see it that way though. With the stamping as well it will be interesting to see what they do.

The lack of Soze and Levi would be a good start? ;) :p

I was on a 30th birthday mission and only saw the score this morning :( I have not seen full highlights but i have seen the stamp which does look deliberate and as ade is a merc would not expect anything less than what he did. So my weekend consists of £200 of liver damage and a bad PR loss.

Ok I watched Extended Highlights and we can't complain for the Merc goal and the own goal both were our fault. I'm pissed off that Arshavin declared himself fit for Russia so could now miss a month for us. Im also not sure why Bendtner is rewarded for 2 in 2 internationals with a right wing slot while RVP still yet to get going is still down the middle. Moneybuymore should have been off before his goal the tackle on Cesc he went over the ball and stamped on his ankle that should have got him a red or yellow at least.

Fair play to the rest of the City team though they are settling and putting in performances much quicker than i though they could.

And its unfortunate that Cashmanuel Moneybuymore is playing a stormer but i don't see it lasting. Lets not forget Arsenal fans only got on his back after he said he wanted to go to a "bigger" club then came back with his tail between his legs when no one wanted him. He then committed the cardinal sin of badge kissing he never loved Arsenal he was with us last season because no "big" clubs wanted him.

Pity the ref didn't spot the clear Barry Handball, 30 secs before they scored at the other end. Would have changed the game completely had that been given.

It is reported that the 25-year-old may receive a six-match ban - three for each incident - if he is found guilty.
"I don't know what I have done wrong to get banned," Adebayor told The Sun.

hmmm lewl.

could just play clarton cole who offers the same as heskey and more

Yes, not only can Cole win the ball, he can hold it even if it means turning. He does not fall over his own feet constantly. He can turn, he can run in other directions other than straight, did I mention he can turn?

No, next Peter Crouch!

And the point was in a couple of years we might see Ngog and Ngoo as attacking pair. Not that he is a good player or anything :p

don't be too optimistic though - Real Madrid may need to buy him if they want the best players in the world. He could easily replace both Kaka and Ronaldo.

Cole is a good reserve for Heskey. But he will need to control the ball and pass it better before he can fill the same role in the team that Heskey has.

The press always moaned about Beardsley not scoring, but Lineker and England always played much better when he was in the team.

The main problem for Heskey is him not getting games for Villa, can't be good for either his confidence or the England manager.

I really do not care that he does not score, I just think his game has gone from bad to worse since he joined Villa. He falls too much, his passing is lacking, his aerial threat is average at best and his pace has waned in his old age. Although he works hard he is not efficient, he wastes too much. He is not the player he was a year ago, when I think he deserved his starting place, a sub at best now and not a player that will be in the 2010 squad.

Did you read the Arse press statement on it? What a load of bollocks:

"All we needed to do was to prove what happened and we have managed to do that. This decision makes me feel a lot better.
"I just want to say that I am a fair player. To score goals you must take your opportunities and I'm not the type of player who needs to be dishonest to score goals."
Arsenal also welcomed Uefa's decision.
"We were able to show there was contact between the keeper and Eduardo and that the decision should be annulled," a Gunners statement said.

Now, while I think that the ban was wrong, because UEFA would not be able to prove Eduardos intent, it was clear to everyone that it was a dive. There was zero contact, and for Arsenal to release such a statement is just stupid. Why not simply state the truth, that Eduardo was proven to not have intentionally mislead the referee, which is what UEFA have said.
