I went to Millwall's last home game of last season, there's a good portion of the crowd which just spend the entire match facing away from the football looking at the away end and "giving it large"

Was that against the orient or the play off game? I was there as an away fan (orient) and yeah i know what you mean! They did a pitch invasion at the end... quite funny seeing a man with his kid on his shoulders swearing at us!

All the good will he has built up over the last 2 years just went out the window, madness.

I wish i could stick up for him but i hate diving. I was willing him to just roll the ball to the keeper and say sorry :(

My colleague is an Orient fan and the only other fans he thinks are as bad as the Millwall lot are the Cardiff fans. When Orient were in a play-off a few years back he went with his (at the time) 13 year old son. Outside the ground two bruising Cardiff fans asked his son if he was an Orient fan, and when he replied he was they both hit him and run off.

Brave fellas.

Don't see too much trouble at Villa Park these days. There was some trouble with Blackburn fans a couple of seasons ago, and I remember a few punch ups when we sent Coventry down, but it is not a regular occurence.

When I was walking back from the Emirates after our 1-1 draw a couple of seasons back I had a nice chat with four Arsenal fans, they gave it large a bit and went on the wind up, but it was all good natured.

As I understand it, though, Milwall and West Ham have "history" that goes back sometime. Certainly the problems weren't just due to the Millwall fans this time.

Yeah that was the game :)

There's a thread on the Chelsea forum i frequent entitled "worst away trips" half of the stories are millwall away in the 70s/80s and all the violence, the next worse sounds like Cardiff. Sounds like even the police back then were the enemy if you were a Londoner at Cardiff away ;)

race riots, football hooliganism... sounds like the time for a tory government to come and take control

oh wait

ROFL. Yeah cos Labour have done such a great job running the country into billions of dollars of debt of the past few terms. Borrowing money from the IMF to give people a couple of pence off tax, fucking hilarious!

Millwall were always trouble and always will be, fans there are fans for one reason!

It really would be great if they did something about diving, about freaking time.

Wouldnt benefit Chelsea much, youd only have Kalou and Anelka as your recognised strikers.

looks like arsenal and man utd have the easier of the champs league grps so far! grp A looks to be a tough one though (Bordeaux knocked Lyon from their perch as top team in France last season for first time in years) chelsea's grp not too bad either...

but isnt it interesting that we can see barca vs inter (Zlatan vs Eto'o) and AC vs R Madrid (i wonder if Kaka will score :p )
