Forlan goal.. wtf was Glen Johnson doing? did not cover the back post, and showed no attempt to do so.

Wasn't Johnson left back for the night? Shouldn't Mascherano have been covering the back post?

was he?
I dont know what the team was, assumed that it was Johnson at right back. Whoever it was done a god awful job as they got absolutely ghosted without Forlan even trying. Was some the worst defending I seen from a top 4 side in some time. lol.

Just glad I didnt bother watching the match :)

Johnson started a leftback with Mascherano and rightback (so as to make space for the shit lucas or what?) but there were several subs by that point so i'm not sure who was suppose to be where :d

Got to say I feel really sorry for Zola, he's been a gentleman, and Gold has been acting like an owner. Sullivan has been a total **** though. Whole squad bar Parker for sale, without informing the manager or players? Making bids for players without consulting the manager?

Zola is certainly one of my favourite Chelsea players and he has always seemed a gent as well so his treatment is certainly sucking balls but it isn't surprising considering the owners.

Always liked Zola too. I have always liked West Ham as well but I hope they go down next season and I hope the new cunting owners lose a load of money. Pricks

lol :)

I assumed johnson was right back for the following reasons:

1) He was playing
2) He is their best right back
3) I seen 1 replay of the goal in the break of what i was watching, and as the right back was about 50yrds from the camera I couldnt exactly see the guys face.

,,
As I said I assumed it was Johnson (a commentator would have went "hmm you sure i said that?" :p ... but it honestly makes no difference to the rest of the comment. The player is irrelevant as it wasnt meant as an attack on the player, but on the defending done.

Even when i see Zola now, as manager of West Ham it makes me wet. I love him as much as football itself.

Wasn't Johnson at least. Think it was Degen or Mascherano :p
Jonhson was the one who lost the air duel against Reyes! ;)

While I tend to think that he is just trying to do a poor Fergie impression it probably has some truth in it.

Man City score 2 in as many minutes

indeed... mind you, they were lucky carew's shot didnt go in to put Villa 2-1 up just seconds after City got it back to 1-1.

Could be interesting game now. If villa can get shots off they will score a number of goals from the look of the city keeper. . . problem is they not getting many shots off (and on target)

ah Marc is back with yet more cluelessness :)
Been missing your comments!

THat was awful from Gerrard, but it is also 'typical Gerrard' play. He well known as a player that does that.

Must admit Liverpool were lucky not to be down to 10 men and 2-0 behind after the penalty appeal.
Mind you, serves the guy right after his blatent dive at the start which he should have been booked for
