Well, Rafa only has himself to blame. Consistently, bringing him back from injury too soon, when it was obvious each time he wasnt fit.

I never thought id say this, but I can honestly see Steven Gerrard leaving liverpool in the summer. He is a fantastic player and would be a star wherever he went and it would be criminal for a player of his calibre to never win a league title, regardless of what country.

Unless the ref includes in his report that he would have made a different decision had he seen the eye poke. He did book both of them, so I don't think he saw what the cameras did.

Unless the ref includes in his report that he would have made a different decision had he seen the eye poke. He did book both of them, so I don't think he saw what the cameras did.

I watched the game and he saw it, the ref was right there and booked them both after careful consideration.

Its a bit silly though isnt, the level that football is stooping to. You cant even touch a player in the heat of the moment, without people calling for you to be burned at the stake. Its a physical game, tensions boil over. I think common sense needs to come into play, but the FA wouldnt go for it.

Yes it is low and he should have been sent off, but the way people are reacting and saying he deserves a long ban is way off the mark. You get players making potentially leg break tackles who get a red card and thats it.

I wouldn't have cared about pushing or shoving, but poking someone in the eye is fucking low. It should be a ban for violent conduct, so 2 or 3 games.

I agree with Marc. A red card would have been sufficient. Leg breakers are career enders. It doesn't look like he was trying to poke his eye out or anything

What are they doing, walking? Its only 600 miles door to door. I know there will be more traffic because there are no planes, but I'm pretty sure they can average better than 12 miles an hour.
