I actually played TFC on my laptop the other night. Twas a good larf, but I really didnt do very well.

I also played DMC for the first time, I was pissing myself, what a load of arse, fast admittedly, but the gameplay was bollox. And I was accused of cheating.

TFC was fun but I found the soldier class was a bit too hard

Soldiers are overpowered, it's the only flaw in TFC, and every TF game for that matter.

I used to play alot of TFC, and alot of CS, quite a bit of AHL and a little DoD... Unfortunately, I came to realise that Half-Life = lamer magnet due to the cheat availability... that goes for all HL mods too...

It's all about how you play. You see TFC as repetetive, because you accept defeat to a FR of overpowered soldiers. The true gamer whines at the overpowered soldiers untill they start defending themselves, then concs into the FR, takes flag, then concs out while half the poor saps are typing

I didn't say I liked CS, I just think it's better. Of course, AHL would 0wn if Handcannon didn't exist.

You didnt get rid of anything! Or add anything!

All they did was add some new maps, some new models, ruin kung fu by taking bunny hopping away, reduce the power on the shotgun a bit, add an annoying tilting 'feature' and then call it AHL beta 5.

a whole number leap in versions usually symbolises some major changes...hmm.

In my view all they did was tweak exisiting features.

no way is it sluggish....

public tfc doesnt do it justice.

tfc is good and in some cases can produce more fun and tense matches than cs.....

I think one of the better things that TFC has that will have CS beat every time is its comunity, I think CS is a good game dont get me wrong but its more for the publics and dosnt have the league comunity of TFC .

I also think TFC has a larger area to express how much skill an individual has, I've never seen anyone in CS pull off a trick thats impressed me .
