Is it safe enough on it's own? Would you recommend it for a young couple?

Me and my gf have recently stopped using condoms due to the fact she is on the pill and even though it has a ~98-99% protection rate, I'm worried about me getting the short straw and her ending up pregnent.

Do you recommend condoms with the pill?

Is it fine on it's own?

Thoughts & opinions please.

the pill is great, nice n cheap for us lads and we don't need to do anything..won my vote. Although soemtimes there are unwanted side effects such as the girl can soemtimes loose her sex drive a bit, thankfully never happened to me but happened o a mate of mine which was quite funny

its only as safe as the person taking it. if they are an idiot and cant remember to do something that simple then its not safe at all.

but really this is what family planning clinics are for. despite some of us being uber clever, its not the best place to get advice on something so important.

Depends on how strong the pill is, there's two or three differen't strengths. Should be fine though.

WAIT ONE WEEK (Exactly 7 days) before you stop using them though.. I read the instructions/FAQ and it takes 7 days before it effects properly.

MY gf is on the pill and we don't use Condoms (always seem to get air bubbles because I am a spaz at putting them on ), just be smart, dont ram her 24/7 4/5 days before her pill ends and you should be fine..could use techniques such as pulling out before you cum to minimize the risks a week before her pill ends. (very hard to do ;d)

Worked like a charm for me a whole year! My gf didn't get pregnant and we did it more than a 100 times I can guarantee you that ;P

And best of all:

1) you don't have to do SHIT!
2) She PAYS!!!1
3) It's real natural sex0ring! No rubber..

If you think "what if she forgets to take it". They put each day on the packet so its easier to know if you took it or not. also if she misses one day i think she has to take 2 the next (if she remembers). i cant say how true that is but im also guessing thats not the best thing to rely on.

rubber > pills, rubber + pills > pills.

just because uve "done" it 100 times and she havent been pregnant doesent mean its 100% safe.

yea i know that, but that minorty+pill! is enough for me, personally i hate rubbers and will only use with a bird if i dont know where shes been.
