I think that you shouldn't be allowed to call someone the proscribed word, or a fucker, or maybe even an idiot, however I do believe there are occasions in every healthy forum where it can be deemed necessary to insult someone.

I propose the word 'muppet' be the acceptable insult as it is fairly harmless and ably describes much forum type behaviour which might lead someone to wish to call someone else a name.

At the risk of jumping the gun I shall now say to Krypt, 'You sir, are a Muppet.'.

I second this.

A forum without insults would be a very boring place, the problem comes when those insults become personal or unpleasant.

It is almost impossible to call someone a muppet with anything like the vehemence required to cause real insult, and it is therefore ideal for use within these walls.

Swift isn't Krypt, that much is obvious.

People around here know I am not a Krypt fan, but I am a father of a kid about his age. He needs to learn some stuff, that much is a given, but at the same time we need to let him learn.

I am guilty of giving Krypt a hard time sometimes, but I hope in an educational way (yeah that sounds bollocks but I'm not about to sit here for 30 mins wording it better).

I'm asking people to back off and let him sit and think a while. I agree with Swift's earlier post and most of the other comments from the more mature audience in here.

Krypt.... read the advice people have given and go away to inwardly digest it.
