I use the Creative DTT3500 setup. Fantastic sound and pretty cheap now I think (if you can still get hold of it; it's pretty old). The audiophiles amongst us will probably recommend some uber-expensive klipsch set or something, but the DTT3500 is fine for all my needs, and it has excellent connectivity for consoles etc.

I have that hooked up to my PS2 and PC ... and to be honest I wouldnt recommend it... go with creative for affodable and decent enough quality
