60% lower Hp and so? Doesnt lower their damage and it still takes 2-3 AE's to bring a field down and if the animist has even the slightest of brains, he will spread out the field. More aggro to the caster? Stop playing PL-bot at 4fins and try the "RvR Aggro".
FoP. FoP.... If you are in PvE Combat, then no, you dont get any power from FoP. Again, stop playing PL-bot at 4fins and start hitting enemy players and TAADAAA you get power from a FoP.

Shrooms needs adjusting, not a nerf in particular and I think it's YOU that needs understanding of how shrooms work in RvR.

initial reports in show that the DC docks are often covered by albion scum, clean up groups have been sent out to clean up the mess but it keeps coming back.

and hunter sm pets can't be put onto the towers around the inner oil ffs, nor can they get into a keep thats still sealed.

Any who, Eras defence, nmy reports from AoD [the ones who had the keep and ally members] were around the ~100 mark when u got inside the keep, it started off on around 60.

Albs defenders...i could [for the first 30 mins] count them on two hands...ok to hands and a foot. Grand total of the 4 guild scouts and AoD rvr grp.

Where were the rest of the albs i hear you say.....glenlock. By the time glen fell and they started drifitng home [bear in mind most had spent god long hours at this keep so really did not want to do it again] we got *maybe* an extra 30 peeps, so 40 albs facing 100+ hibs [now].

Add to that the people over at Berks trying to keep the mids off some of those towers.

So eras falls with some lame ass shrooming going on...although i was happy when i chain killed one of the shroomers for 5 minutes...no rps but damn it felt good.

Logged off at this point mighty ticked and played some HL2.

Logged back on to find Surs had lost two towers, voice chat was alive with ["The luri the luri..nice one. 2fg more incoming...where the hell are all these hibs coming from!!"]

We eventually get kicked out of surs, but manage to bash hole in the wall a few times [and get nuked through phase shift..i would blame on lag but when it goes [you cast Phase Shift, you resist the effect x10,<elph> hits you for 600 dmg, you resist the effectx2 <elph> kills you its a bit Oo]

So we basha hole in the wall a few time sbut people drift in and out of the keep and slowly get picked off.

This kinda conintues till about 1am when i falls asleep at my pc...ok the floor near my pc...nice soft carpet in here :)


Wake up saturday, take a couple towers back spend rest of day getting double teamed by mibs...make 62k realmpoints over two chars in a day...dicover that you can shoot from one bridge tower to the other [shame for the mids up there] laugh like a crazy man in voice chat when u solo a sb and a ns in one fight...yay for physical defence!

Shrooms only start a nuke on something visible. Once they've started, they will always finish, but they will not start another nuke on something that has gone out of visibility.

This is quite necessary. Shrooms take 3 secs to cast their spells, which would be long enough for someone to get in visibility, nuke them and got out of visibility untouched if they did not finish casting.

Shrooms are a powerful tool in an around keeps, there's no doubt about that. I'd happily give them up though as part of a genuine rebalancing that allowed us to compete with other nukers on equal footing. Currently animists have the worst CC options, slowest spells and most restrictions on use of any nuker class.

Enemies naturally always talk about shrooms, but they should also consider how easy we are to kill outside keeps. Any competent sorc, caba, SM, RM or BD can take me out with laughable ease. Necros and Theurgs are about the only ones I stand a chance against and even then it's situational.

Animists pets don't chase through 10 zones without giving up :p

TBH all pets attacking stealthers after they stealth is annoying, but applies to all realms.

When was the last time that you fought against shrooms? They still currently nuke through the walls inside keeps if they already started to cast. Same as lords shoot through walls/floors still etc.

The casting part isn't necessary, it's one of the most frustrating bugs in the game. Until Mythic fix this I can never see them trying to balance / fix Animists where they really need it.

The range detection for guard spam is fairly large. Those groups will not have been mutually exclusive, people will have been counted twice.

I got RPs for taking 2 eras towers, whilst i was meleeing the main doors at the keep. Nice range.

You only see the damage being applied to you. I see the enemy popping, the cast,the damage being applied, the enemy moving out of LoS and the damage stopping.

Is there actually an official bug acknowledgement on this? I play my animist exclusively and if it was nuking through walls with any kind of frequency, I find it hard to believe I would not have noticed it happening at least once.

I'll see if our TL has any official word on this.
