Was a very long raid and i had planned on getting an early night ><. 1st time through the Mile gate was a bit of a diaster for hibs then 2nd time through it seemed that all the albs had wandered off to retake surs. Will have to see how mythics under populated realm program works and whether we keep it next month.

Well moved to surs at 8pm, it's not easy to take 3 lvl 10'ish keeps with less than 100 people when they're all defended, no wonder it became a marathon raid...

Ofcourse rams that kept bugging wasn't exactly helping.

Went through the MG unbuffed there to see how the alb shrine looked and after that killed 1 alb caster and died to the hibs. And then to bed.

i was mezzed meight, just cheap picking on lil ol' me
i was dead anyway, but still


and yeah, after we stopped hibs' 1st attempt on the milegate, we knew they'd be back for sure and in more numbers, we sent 1.5 ish fg to surs (which halved our numbers at mg) in a hope that it could be retaken fast and close the gate, but time wasn't on our side unfortunatly.

I dont know why ppl Blame Animist Still!!!!
They are nerf to the teeths, 60% lower HP on Shrooms and More aggro to Caster. 1 Mezz from you longrange Sorc and they are out of the question or 1-2 shot them with area nuke and they are dead.
Animist cant hold up 15 Shrooms all the time becouse it cost to much POWER.
And dont say FOP, becouse Animist dont get any Power regen from fop if the Shrooms are hitting any enemy or Mob!

Its easyer to say Nerf instead of try to understand and Avoid it instead!

GRatz to all Hibs .. i couldnt be on that becouse of work.

Wooohooo, grats, Hibs! UBER respect! I knew this was coming, seeing the huge fighting spirit Hibs have put up since the beginning of NF, and my only fear was that it would be us Mids and not Albs who would lose our relic. Thanks for that!

Hibs on Prydwen should actually stand up and be proud. You are far outperforming your colleagues on Hib/Excalibur, for instance, and with much less means.

Big props to aran and edlina for driving! Random stuff:

Raid lasted 10hrs - no big suprise there when taking a single keep can easy turn into a 4 or 5hr stand off.

Someone mentioned in one of the threads how many rps they farmed blah blah. Not really hard farming mostly random hibs taking defended keeps. Be fun when hibs get raided also, much farmage of a bigger zerg imo.

No way hibs had over 100 peeps, the /bg started off with 67 peeps i counted, and finished the night with something like 48. tbh I think alot of peeps didn't consider it was a serious raid at the start with those numbers, but thought it was worth a crack to at least have some fun for the night. Numbers coulda gone up a bit somewhere in between, but I doubt it. Friday nights are always quiet.

Was kinda pissed off at missing the Surs room fight, was the only one in the grp not to make it in thru' the camping albs. ofc everyone sees the ginger hair .

Thanks for a fun night to all the albs who came and defended their realm.

When we died on our first try to get through the MG, I thought that we had come to the turning point of the relic raid. The second time we went through, we ran past the AFK/sleeping albs outside and went straight to the battlements, but met almost no opposition. There was not a single raid on us while we were waiting for the relic to be reachable in the temple. Later we found out that the albs were at Surs, retaking their keep only two or three minutes after we passed their MG with the relic. I can't imagine the horror of the entire hib population being trapped between the milegates.

The surs defence u lot put it was great. WD to all u hibs who lasted the full raid or most of it. Pitty some albs found this an opportunity to go PvE. Gratz hibbies!

and btw, nobody said were proud of the relics, but we cant help if the albs are nutcases and run into our pbaoe over the lordroom when they own the keep and were the one who should be trying to get out not them trying to raid us thinking it will be allright because they are more then us...

We won because Aran led well and Hibs followed well. Also because enough Hibs (not me) stuck through to the end. The raid STARTED in primetime (7.45pm GMT). Blame Mythic for it carrying on until next morning, not us.

Shrooms can take some credit too. I can't blame Albs for hating them. In a keep situation, particularly keep defense, shrooms are very powereful. Before you get too much sympathy though, I just wanna point out that as a full-time animist, I spend 6 days out of 7 dying repeatedly to scouts, hunters, sorcs, cabas, SMs, RMs, and just about anyone who runs into me.

I was one of the few albs outside the milegate when you came, we got lured there by a trixy luri stealther! And i was neither afk nor sleeping when your zerg came, more like cursing because my comp froze with lag and when i could move again i was dead. I'm ordering more ram next week.

I think you could have just ran up the ladders on the milegate and jumped down the other side. So no, our hope was to retake Surs before you got through the milegate in the first place. Once again, well done hibs! And the luri trick was nasty!

I'm not sure numbers were the main cause of us to lose relics. Mids and Hibs attacking at the same time, splitting our forces between about 4 keeps. I know there were plenty of albs at berks who tried to get to surs to help out, but with no way of teleporting anywhere, there was no option but to run, and that took a long time. When you consider the gank groups active on the route to surs, very few people made it to the keep, and once there, there was no way to get in. Most people just congregated at the tower alb still had nearby in the hope that enough people would make it to form a counter attack. Like all raids, it was the 2 realms vs 1 that pretty much sealed our fate from the start, but it isn't deliberate crossrealming. The war map just means that everynight, one realm has a little action, and everyone heads there, and it become the whipping stick for hat night. I like most people had no way of staying up until 5.00am so I don't know what happened after I logged. I guess hibs are just more dedicated and/or have less rl commitments

Exactly. The underpopulation.. arangement.. was implemented to make sure that an underdog realm could still compete against the realms that are with 'normal' populations for their class-sets in NF. Apparently it worked, maybe even too well, though I won't go there as it's imposible to say for certain. Time will show.

I sneaked inside the MG after we finaly conqured Berkstead, and there I found Firepower who I killed with 2x DDs then I proceeded to charge a random mincer with andrilyn chain healing him. Some how I managed to kill them both and while I rested I got a briton guardian paladin on me which I took down flawless.

Seemed like yesterday nothing went the way our group planned it out as I went solo to the Milegate I got into a group which had people which didn't even were level 50 (hence why you hit the mincer for 75% hp each swing he was level 45..) then of course like normal my entire group was scattered over the entire map (which was basically standard for the entire day) kind of depressing.

And about the leader bit I can't remember Albion having actual leaders but that could just be me, it's mainly complete guilds that take the lead in a /BG or some leader screaming: "Charge!!!111oneone" then only 1 fg of the 4 fg standing there charge... pointless really.
And I really have a hard time to beleave there were only 100 hibs max on the raid as each and every fight I had yesterday we were lucky to only be outnumbered 2:1 sometimes even as high as 5:1 but that was just all from my POV from that day.

I know its hard to fight when the group is sprawled all over the map, but its not that difficult to be outnumbered by a relicforce with 5:1, specially when the group is diminished.

We didnt face that many defenders throughout the night, maby most "Albsies" thought their favourite arties would be up for grabs if the usual artifact-campers were at the counterzerg...It sure wasnt for the animists, even if I do like the thought of it.

Whenever i did /bg count it was less then 100, i think 91 was the top number i got at the peak of the raid.

Plan was to start at 19:00, but when i started the /bg there was less then 3fg at DL.
I think it was about 19:45 when we finally left and started moving, and there was probably 50-60 of us in the main force, + a couple of roaming groups i think.
