It's never to late to give up. Thanks for playing.Haladrid said:It'll just be happy farming for the rr8+ PuG groups (like yours most probably). The high rr groups will still only let in high rr players so as usual there will just be a masacre of low rrs and I don't want to fall into that trap. I don't really see the point in coming, but I guess thats just me, good luck with it anyways.

Anyway, I dont get this no add rule (whine). If you are a set group, shouldnt a challenge be great? I mean, its what the high RR groups want, isent it? -challenge.
If a fixed grp meet 1 pug, and are winning easily, then another pug 'add' which turnes the fight, and make it even. If the pugs win, will the set grp whine 'damn adders' or appreciate the challenge?![]()
We have one standin! So PUG of doom!!Nate said:well i guess i'll be taking part, but as my set group runs on sunday from 19:00 gmt we won't really be a pugbut will be nice to fight some new opponents
another grrrrreat idea by mastade ! why don't goa employ you

RR8 was high 2 years ago.
BlackrazoR said:Ouch you're e-peen hit me in the eye when you were swinging it around. I said I'd organise a high RR group and I'd say that RR8 and above makes it a high RR group, yes.

If the set groups are running and you encourage pugs to come then they will just get farmed, give up after 2 runs and go back to what they were doing before (if they even bother).
In order to get idea's like this to work, and get more people out 8v8'ing the set groups need to be the organisers of it.
Take your regular group.. split it into 2 groups of 4 people.. now invite 4 random lowbie RR's that you find standing round your border keep each.
You've now got 4 people that know what they are doing, and 4 people with a great opportunity to learn from them. Every group you meet will have some newbs in it that are going to make mistakes and as long as the set group people encourage them and try to improve them instead of just flaming them for being crap then it will hopefully give them some fun and mean next time they log on they look for a group instead of just running out solo.
The main reason people don't bother nowadays is that you get invited to a group, go on one run, all the good players in the group insta log normally leaving a stream of insults at the other players there, and the others go back to soloing.. is it any wonder people don't really try to make pugs anymore?
While the idea of getting more pugs out is good, if they can only put up any kind of fight against 1 of the 5 groups out in aggramon then it's going to get frustrating fast.. you could say they have a 20% chance of a fight they can win, in reality the group they do stand a chance against will also be dead 80% of the time, so it's more like a 3% chance of meeting the other lowbie group. At least one of your 8 players is going to get fed up and log fast, meaning you have to start all over again.
