Help stupid police application

Ok so im applying to become a special constable, however they want me to fill the application in online.... fair enough. They have given me a download which is a PDF file and doesn't allow text editing so theres noway I can write on the PDF to fill my details in. Any ideas? someone didn't think it through to me ;<

Was thinking that it's kinda scary that our future law enforcer can't solve the mystery of the evil pdf on his own

I have adobe reader 8, although its the file security properties which do not allow text to be edited onto he PDF... why would the trial version allow this?

no i downloaded the file from the police website. You have to fill in some details though to get the download link
