Well its all about opinion tbh, if you go to the aread in alb you can get some nice guild grps out (pe,bdc) but 7/10 times you will get added on but mr thread starter there is a way to stop that like evryone else has said just dont go there isnt that just common sence?

The great thing about DAOC RVR is there is so many ways to play, not going to suit everyone, but coming on here and saying OMG STOP IT NOW wont make ppl give up the towers/keeps to suit you mate. Sorry

Keep takes and defences bring people out to RvR who wouldnt normally go. More people in RvR = more fun for all. It's not as if Agramon gets turned off when a keep is under siege or that groups from other realms who also don't like keep fights are prevented from going to the frontiers.
Then of course there are morons like Matriarchi who thinks that 'roleplayer' is an insult (apparently because he doesn't actually understand the word) and that anyone who likes keepfights likes roleplaying. So anyone who plays a class that doesn't easily get group invites, or doesn't solo, or isn't very experienced in RvR or won't/can't/doesn't want to join a fg RvR guild is a roleplayer now? I'm a roleplayer, I like 8v8, and roaming RvR. I also like big fights and tower/keep sieges. Many other people I know aren't roleplayers and also enjoy tower/keep fights.
Attitudes like the ones displayed by Atilas and Matriarchi are what will eventually kill this game off. When people start to believe this bullshit that RvR is only for people who play in a certain way, that anyone who doesn't subscribe to their bullshit rules is worthless and has no business being in 'their' frontier, then this game will die and the elitist pricks who want it to be Dark Age of Team Deathmatch will have killed it.

would be fun if all the op'ed guild groups who normally dun run in zergs etc create their own little zergs .. and just run over all roleplayers ...

Well i can only think of the Artisans of Willow(Hib) and Order of Knights Templer(Alb), well they are the only ones i know of that are still going.
And yet some people decide to use the word as an offencive term as if it were an insult.
Fear through ignorance i think.
Keep takes, group fights, solo combats ect they are just differant ways of playing the game, none are more or less valid then the others.
Each person plays for thier own reasons and as soon as people learn to accept that and respect each other's differance of opinion then the game gets so much nicer.
People can try to suggest thier own ideals but it gives them no right to insult or harrass any that disagree.

Getting keeps to move rvr and, hopefully, bring out more peeps to play is a good thing.
Getting keeps at ungodly hours to farm Albs who gonna try take em during day, well it's rp farming ^^ Honest way of play, but tbh be intellectually honest and admit it!
