Only the ones that don't have bipolar tachywotsit beam doohickies installed. Leaving the space garage without having a B.T.B.D. on your ship is just ASKING for trouble. :/

In laymens terms :

the problem lies with the ISD having a polarising effect on the gyration of the ent-a sheild maginficatorisor. When they ionise the destoryers reconfigured coreline sheild generator they can de-combustulate the weakend anti-alaszing torpedo tube...

I have to disagree there. I think the polarising effect will be countered by the retro-active anti-sociate magnumplyers.

More to the point...

If the entire Startrek fleet can get there ass kicked by a giant rubix cube,
populated by weirdo's with a major leather fetish, then they deserve to loss.

It's impossible to judge them, they are from two entirely different universes, operating under entirely different rules. You must judge them in relativety to other beings in their universe, ffs.

And don't bring the anti-polarising effect into this, 'cos the meghomaiac waves of the ISDs dugodo cannons would cancel out both the anti-polarising effect, *and* the retro-active anti-sociate magnumplyers.

Duh.

I've seen that one, made no fuckin sense though - tbh it was probably that they blew the film budget on booze so they had to write a story which didn't involve elaboratly crafted futuristic sets :)

As for the arguement, ISD hands down. Simply because of the 'don't give a shit about the other guy' factor. The Imperials would be out to fuck them over and they'd probably sell on the woman folk they captured as sex slaves for a little currency so they could build more stuff to fuck peacniks over with :D

I'd like to either shag that thing, or put a bullet in it's head.

Hehe, the whole Enterprise Vs ISD argument makes me think of the geeky kids in Galaxy Quest that wanted it clarified how something on an imaginary spaceship was supposed to work :D

Anyway, the one with the bigger FX budget would win. I would have thought everyone would know that by now ;)

so glad i read this forum you guys rawk! but tbh i have to agree with the dude that said it would be a moral thingy why star trek lost cos im pretty blimmin sure the ISD crew dont have a sodding cheer leader running about "councilling" them all and giving them guilt trips when they want to squish any aliens that look as if the wanna 'av a go, and tbh if the crew of the enterprise are that mentally frail that they need a shrink on board they shouldnt be running about in space with sodding photon torpedos and phasers!! its like giving an epileptic a machine gun and sending him to a jean michele jarr concert! aaaaaand strom troopers look kind of groovy i mean that armour would put the shits up me if i met one of em in a dark ally where as if i met a member of the enterprise id prolly ask em where they did their laundry and if they are sueing the buggers that shrank their uniforms.

Well Star Wars Vs Star Trek... that is of course been a arguement that has gone on for a age, in a galaxy far far away.

Lets not forget the 2 basic principals here, Star Wars is based on magical powers known to all Jedi's as the force; Star Trek is based on the future alliances with other worlds known as "The Federation".

There would be a epic battle if the two forces were to meet, however there are elements of the Star Trek univerise which would i regret to say distroy the Jedi's.

Perhaps it would not be The Federation that would distroy the Jedi, as apart from the "Time directive" for historians from the future returning to see the past (they are not allows to change it though) so sadly people of the federation would not be able to dispose of the Jedis.

But..

The Borg and Species 8472 are another story, they are both not driven by morals, and they both have the ability to regenerate and grow and an alarming speed. Would the Death Star survive against a fleet of borg ships... no. would the Millenium Flacon stand up to a 8427 attack cruser?... no.

And the ultimate... would a Jedi stand up to both Borg or 8472? ... no.

My reasons,

Borg, it would only take 1 borg to Assimulate 1 jedi for the chain reaction to take place, the borg would then know the "force" and would use it in a darker way then the Darkside. This would lead to the "assimulated" jedi, assimulating his forgone bothers/sisters. Meaning the end of Jedis.

8472, one scratch from this species, would alter the DNA of jedi's, changing them into a sub species of 8472, meaning that the new improved jedi (if he loses his humanity - Ensign Harry Kim managed to hold onto his in epoisde "8472" Voyager, with help of the doctor), would then start a chain reaction to take over more Jedi's.

who will win balh blah blah... lemme tell you who will win...

the enterprise ofc (if thats the name)... why? no not because they have dual uber photon tachyon orb of annihilation photon (oops already named that) dual shadow cooled turbo singularity blasters but plainly because they are the cinematic 'heroes' and as we all know heroes always win in these kind of movies...

it would be illogical to let the 'heroes' in their ufo-on-a-fork who've been through so much die by some Pie-piece looking plastic box who only spend less then an hour on the screen...

theres your answer about who will win...
