this place is really going to the shits, after all thats happened this past month, i dont feel i "like" this town anymore.

This happened in the next village which used to be one of the nicest communities around, but now its gone the dogs

This country is falling to pot, rampant crime is on the rise and general crapness of the police is making people take matters into their own hands

Me for example, there was a group of these towny fucks terrorising the street, banging on doors chucking garbage around. Then they banged on my door...

Big mistake for them. Firstly i wasn't in the best of moods, due to a shitty day at work, and then getting people trying to intimidate you in your own house!!!

Well im not pleased by my actions, i know now that i was being grossly out of line and they could have technically got me in Big trouble. But im not a weak or short person, and comming from a rugby background i still have enought mass to hold my own.

However this time instead of ignoring it I grabbed a 10 inch meat knife thing. Put on a hoody, wrapped some black cloth around my mouth. I waited for them to go down to the next house. At which point i burst out the front door.

There was about 8 of them, 6 boys 2 girls, looked about 16. They stood there for a few seconds realising that a hodded, masked person was running at them at full pelt brandishing a 10 inch knife. At which point they belted.
All i can remember apart from my unrestrained rage was the words 'Shit Shit Shit Shit' and screaming from the sluts. I caught up with them, said various scary sentences,and left.

It was obvious the boys were trying to impress their lady friends showing how 'ard they were. Well I hope i taught them however hard they think they are, if they try and show it by terrorising people, there is always someone who wont take it.

Its been nearly a month now and I haven't seen them since

Being pedantic, I think "karma" is the wrong choice of word.

"Karma" implies that there her being mugged was in some way part of the natural order of things, that it was somehow her destiny to get mugged.

Unplesant. The world we live in...

I managed a fit of shouting threats at two younger kids on the back of a bus, who were blowing spitballs at people. When one hit me I went spastic, jumped out my seat, and stamped towards them (I'm not short, and someone (even as skinny as me) practically doubled up on the top deck of a bus looking ANGRY isn't plesant). Shouting at them commenced, and some squeaking excuses were made - note no apologies, before I stomped back down the bus and sat down. They didn't do it again though.

They can't of been more than 14. Lovely world we live in.

The police caught them, it was 2 girls around 16 and an older man, the girls where who threatened my mum...

Problem is they chucked the bag, so its lying in a hedge somewhere now waiting for some other cunt to probably pick it up...

While i was "guarding" the house i too picked up a very large knife and a thing for my tyres...

Altho i seem to have misplaced the knife.. uh oh :/

another uh-oh is the fact that my bank info along with my mums is in her bag too, but we've just phoned the banks up to notify them

Terribly sorry to hear this SG. I deeply commiserate with you and your mother. I do hope your mum's otherwise unharmed

on a side note, do get the police in on this asap. fools who steal from the defenceless well deserve a serious comeuppance. don't do anything rash though (Iknow, I know) please. when my mum got robbed I was ready to kill.

A Man's (or Women's) house is their castle, and we should be allowed to defend it with whatever force we deem fit if under attack.

This country has become so pants in that criminals are essentially allowed to roam free. why? They fear nothing, they know that if their victim has a weapon or badly hurts them, there is just as much chance that the criminal can get the victim into more trouble that themselves.

why? because the people who decided these laws are so bloody liberal. We need some tough leaders who aren't afraid of hurting criminals, if you commit a crime against other persons you should pay to the fullest extent of the law. So what if prisons are dirty and some these people live in squalor! they deserve it. tbfh Its all got a bit soft.

On a more serious note, i totally understand what its like for a town to go to shit, i remember when i was a kid the town i live in was really quite pleasant.
I wouldn't want to brings kids up here now.
Gangs roam the streets, setting fire to cars, smashing everything in site etc.
Its hard to do anything becuase they are in such large numbers, what can you do?

If someone commits a crime our of the utmost necessity then you can understand it and society should try to help someone.

bah, we need some good old fashion ancient world punishement. Public Floggings, Branding (as TDC said), Labour camps,

or the high tech way

Have electronic tags inserted in the body, and small devices put in the brain, so that if people know who did it, they can find them, or if they can't be arsed to find them, turn on the devices in the brain that give the criminal a feeling of extreme pain for small, frequent time periods untill they give themselves up. They will be allowed to have these things removed IF they stay crime from for 20 years or so

No doubt. The few times I've needed police assistance they've been absolutely fucking useless. I don't suppose it's fair to blame the individual officers, they do what they can and follow the rules. But somebody, somewhere is making all the wrong decisions.
