There is no "best" spec, it´s all a matter of personal taste. I`m 36 mind, rest body and happy with it. It´s a good overall template for both, PvE and RvR.
Search Albion forums for Sorcerer template and you´ll find endless threads discussing every single detail of the different specs.

full grouping sorc = 44 mind (where you might have a full spec aoe rooter , ice theurg maybe)

50/50 = 34/6 mind 40ish body

full solo sorc = 46 body 28 mind (although nice in groups for wizzies etc or with a full mind sorc)



i prefer full body, lots of cc options and kickass n00k

Nope, nothing wrong with the mezz. It´s traditional to call all other sorcerer specs than your own gimped.
36 mind is a viable template, just like all other templates are viable. It all boils down to what you want and how you´re playing your Sorc. 44 mind is more en vouge atm because of the next POM level.

Hehe, Aluvian, what you're seeing is my wonderful body debuff (actually, two of them, I spam too much sometimes) followed by me and Iluvatur (body sorcerer) interlacing our body nukes on you (I'm using the baseline mage lifetap, the one with 447 damage cap). And yeah, it was most likely Arrested/Pin doing the mezzing (and sometimes assist-nuking as well) for us.

body resist decreased - Cerdin debuffing body (noob spammer)

647 - Iluvatur (body sorc) nuke
630 - Euphoria (air theurg) nuke
447 - Cerdin (spirit cabby) lifetap
647 - Iluvatur (body sorc) nuke - 1.4s after first nuke

Ye some mentalists in prydwen are pretty impressive players too Fun to see them owning tanks in rows with proper pet etc. Set pet attack (root or whatever) and then back to passive,nice kiting etc.

We met your darn caster group with our a few times, I believe. Your luri chanters/elds are difficult to target and nuke hard.

i know this guy, cuz i play on the same server than him, and by sympathy i dled his videos several weeks ago.
u can't imagine how bored and disappointed i felt when i watched them.
It's slow, there's not a lota fights and the solo of a sorcerer is very limited, i mean that it's always the same scenes, only the ennemy differs and the number of gained rps ;D

Like soloing with my skald then. Different enemies and rp's varies.
